Its quite simple. Vehicles go to their operator nations. Exceptions to this are countries that are not sub-trees to any particular tree, vehicles added before a sub-tree was implemented/announced, countries that are designated to be gapfillers such as commonwealth countries.
If we go by country of manufacture, the US tree would be filled with Shermans with countless different colorful flags.
Thailand is a branch to the Japanese Tech-tree. Their vehicles are designated by gaijin to be consolidated in their branch. If Thailand wasn’t a branch of any tree, It’d be quite reasonable to see Oplot-T in the USSR tree, Stingray in the US tree and VT4 in the Chinese tree. But that’s not the case, is it? Gaijin has established Thailand as a branch and therefore, Thai vehicles belong there.
Refer to this when anyone else makes the ‘Manufacture Country’ argument.
If move to that step, then Gaijin is trying to kill themselves. Such extreme cases are beyond the scope of this discussion, much like the flag of Germany during WWII. Then half of Europe could be consider added for German as sub-TT as well, Poland, Spain… Even Iran, before Allies’ invasion, Iran hadText pretty good relationship with Germany before WWII

Nah ,I mean build a new TT called “ASEAN” ,no jap with in ,on the issue of jap we have same position as kor.By the way ,there’s only one vie vehicle in chn TT ,just like ztq62 in sov TT ,there’s no accurate information that vie and prk will join chn TT.（At least Gaijin had not mention it)
