Topic about Japan adds T-84 and VT-4

They really know their demand is unreasonable, that’s why they bringing this kind of reason. Their actions is quite hilarious, is just like a wedding that bride and groom agree to marry but their neighbour object it😅

Because all the reports about this were marked as “not a bug,” and recently Chinese players have been protesting against the addition of the VT4 to the Thai tech tree, hardly anyone is talking about this issue (probably).

This is the English speaking part of the Forum, can you please translate it at least?

“I’m a Chinese player. Chinese forums are full of double standards. They demand that Southeast Asia be included in the Chinese system. They think it’s right for Taiwan’s M1 to be included in the Chinese system, and they want the Korean branch to be included in the Japanese system. But when it comes to their VT4 export vehicle being included in the Japanese system, they start crying and yelling, and even attack other normal players. They think that Chinese players who don’t play the Chinese system are traitors. People in the forum think they have more ownership of Thai vehicles than Thai players. For this, I apologize to all Japanese and Thai players🙇‍♀️”-Mikufansi

我只是翻译你所说的话以便人们能够理解。

“I’m just translating what you said so that people can understand.”

I have always had some sympathy for players of the Chinese tech tree and think it’s unfortunate how poorly/untimely their equipment has been implemented.

However, I also see the perspective of the game developer who has multiple in-game nations to care for with limited resources to spare, so many issues go unresolved.

One thing that sets the chinese apart from other national communities in war thunder is their commitment, which (in my opinion) sometimes reaches an unhealthy level. They take in-game issues as a grave insult to national pride, and see political messages where there are none.

Please care more to Thai players opinion and what they want and please stop caring about bad Chinese players 🙏🙏🙏 Change the focus please.

The best solution to address the issue of vehicle ownership in the game is to introduce an Asia-Pacific line, developing a tech tree that includes Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The reason for not considering South Korea and North Korea is that their relationship is even more sensitive than that of China and Japan

Japan as a tech tree needs equipment, so that idea is bad on that fact alone.

The other part is those nations collectively can’t produce a tech tree.

VT-4 in Thai service is not Chinese, and CM11 in Chinese service is not American.

You’ve misunderstood the essence of the issue. Chinese players have no objection to the VT4 being added to Thailand, but they do object to its addition to Japan. When operating an international project, you must consider the conflicts between nations and ethnic groups. There are taboos in everything.

I believe there is a simplest method, which is to quickly add an Indonesian subtree for Japan and clearly position Thailand as a supplement to the Indonesian subtree, similar to the relationships between the UK, South Africa, and India. This way, there would be a valid reason for not including VT4 and Chinese vehicles in the Japanese tech tree.

What about Thai players don’t you think about Thai player’s feeling at all? In comparison what is more reasonable between Chinese players feeling and Thai players feeling that the “Thai is currently using it and China has nothing to do with it at all” right? People in this forum care more about Chinese players not considering or even care about Thai players at all?

Cool. Thai VT-4 on the way for the Japanese Research Tree.

Now it’s up to whether Gaijin can withstand the protests from Chinese players. If they can hold out, adding the VT4 to the Thai tech tree shouldn’t be a major issue. If not… then it’s pretty much not happening.

If we set aside contradictions and conflicts, then I can only demand that Ukrainian vehicles be incorporated into Russia, since the technology of the T-84 (Object 478) originates from the Soviet T-80UD. This is very reasonable.
