They haven’t released anything yet, they even confirmed it’s not for the next major update
VT-4 is not a Chinese vehicle, it’s an international vehicle.
That’s like saying China shouldn’t get M1A2T because it’s an American vehicle despite it being ordered by the Republic of China for service in their military.

VT-4 is not being added this major update regardless.
I would not be surprised if they’re planning M1A2T and VT-4 for future updates that don’t take place around September.
Cause while players in countries may have double standards, Gaijin does not. They do not care what is going on IRL between USA and China, and will add M1A2T and M60s to China anyway.

My grandmother taught this wisdom to her grandchildren. Her housing was bombed in WW2, and even she realized what happens in fiction did not impact her life.
And at the end of the day the VT-4 would not have a Japanese flag in-game. It would be Thai, with a Thai flag, and likely released on an update more forgiving.

its just a game. and every country should have its uniqueness. thats why we finished one country and play other countries.

As for Leopard 2A7HU appearing in Italy. We all know how poor Italy’s main battle tanks are in the game.
And Japan does not have such a problem. So Japan doesn’t need to have VT4
IF one day the United Arab Emirates added into China. because the two countries have conducted many military exercises together.
I will oppose the addition of Rafale fighter jets and Leclerc to China.

Many French and American vehicles have appeared in China, which is caused by Taiwan. This is a completely different situation.

You’re just assuming that. If Ukraine became a subtree for USSR, my only complaint would be it wasn’t its own independent tree. You are suggesting we’re racist because we don’t see the issue with a Thai vehicle being added to a Thai subtree?

Sure, Japan doesn’t NEED the VT4. But Thailand does. Its one of their main vehicles, imagine refusing to add the Sherman to the US tree because they have better alternatives.

Spoiler Alert: you’re playing a game where almost every country has a Sherman and M44. There are 4-5 nations with Leopard 2s, Israel’s air is mostly French and American jets. 3-4 nations with the T-72 aswell. Not to mention the MiG-21 being in 4 nations too! China hasn’t even received all the vehicles that they operated, so its not even finished. Uniqueness went out the window long* ago, denying Thai subtree of VT4 and T-84 (their main MBTs) is selfish.

I never said you did. I said Thailand needs it. Thailand is a subtree of Japan, so it’ll be placed in Japan. The vehicle stat card doesn’t say its Japanese, there is Thai roundels, crew, camouflage, etc.
This is a non-issue.
You could also extend this,
China didn’t need the JF-17. They didn’t need the T-80UD/DU1. But Pakistan is a part of their tree, and Pakistan mainly uses these vehicles. So why wouldn’t you add them? They’re not a Chinese JF-17, it’s a Pakistani JF-17.

There is no single-spawn game mode for tanks, meaning nothing can ruin uniqueness of tech trees.
USA is the only tech tree in the game where I can bring both Abrams and Merkavas.
France is the only tech tree where I can bring both Leclercs and Dutch Leopard 2A5.
Germany is the only tech tree where I can bring 2A5 PSO, 2A7V, and PUMA [if I want].
On top of that, the VT-4 that is in the Chinese tech tree is not the one that Thailand operates. They are different models at the end of the day with different capabilities.

The appearance of Leopard 2 tank in other series has definitely affected the uniqueness of the German.
The appearance of VT4 in Japan will also affect China‘s.

Considering it has a different camouflage and it might even be at too low of a BR to face the Chinese VT-4, i doubt it’ll be an issue.

Israel could’ve easily been a US subtree since the majority of their air is American or French and their ground is fairly modified American-made vehicles, or some French vehicles.
This isn’t the place to be doing it then. The VT-4 for Thailand is different to the VT-4 in China. Start a thread advocating to rid every tree of copy and paste, rather then trying to deny Thai people of one of their main MBTs.

It would only effect it if both tech trees had identical 1:1 copy paste tanks in lineups, but they don’t and can’t.

A single Thai VT-4 doesn’t hurt China in the slightest. People would argue China is the motherload of using other nations vehicles. You even have Japanese vehicles in YOUR tree! I don’t see you complaining about that.

Not exported domestic vehicles are uniqueness, anything exported to multiple nations are not. VT-4 isn’t one of them.
Clearly not on these forums. It looks like you made your account just to attack the VT-4 and T-84. Complaining about one vehicle in this thread will do nothing to your cause. Trust me on that one.
