Honestly Gaijin should operate a domestic CN server. I know we don’t like mentioning it here but the other tank game has a domestic Chinese server which adds its own content and is compliant with Chinese government laws and censorship. That way we can enjoy the content we want and won’t be angering a portion of the player base that can’t separate reality from fiction.

I’m maining Japan and I like the subtree very much. Actually, I think it didn’t go far enough because I’d love to fly Thai F-86L.

Many actually advocated for the Thai subtree for various reasons. Some are Thai and want to see their nation, some are not but are still interested in Thai vehicles and military, and some just want Japanese lineups to be supported.
All of these are valid.

I don’t like how Gaijin implements subtrees. Most issues that people have are issues that I think are purely issues of implementation.
Subtrees wasting space for the main nation, watering down research on one hand, but also being put below another nation instead of an equal with improper representation.
I think all of these issues can be fixed, and would even help controversies like this. Right now people don’t want VT-4 for Japan, with fixed subtrees it would be clearly placed in a proper Thai tree.

As a Chinese player, I really don’t want VT4 to come to Japan. The United States has AIM, Germany has Leopard PL, and China has VT4 (Thailand) is obviously not a problem.
