Topic about Japan adds T-84 and VT-4

Yep that how sub trees work they are subordinates to the main hence why they can’t split up tech once announced, We have Russian stuff in Britain, We have German stuff in Sweden, We have French things in Germany, We have Russian stuff in China, So why can’t we have Chinese stuff in Japan?

Why does Japan need the VT4?

Because Thailand is a sub nation to Japan

That’s history WW2 history the VT-4 is a modern tank and is used by Thailand not Japan

1937 to 46 =/=2025

Well, I saw many SK players disliked largely about former suggestion to add SK to JPN directly as a sub-tree.
(That became one of the major reasons why Japan got Thailand instead of SK.)

Their reason were similar to yours, and it was valid. So Gaijin chose to select Thai instead.

So, Japan will never gonna get SK’s K1A1 or F-15K. just as same as ANY PRC version of a Chinese-built vehicle will not be added to them either.

But this(Thai VT4) problem looks similar, but differences also exist, and I explained with sub-trees.

I am trying my best to understand those complicated histories and hatred between those nations.

Yes. I understand your disagreement. you guys must’ve disliking the addition itself if it is going to happen.

But please also considers we don’t know nothing more than two points.

  1. Thailand ground forces will be sub-tree of japan in this september, just like what their air force did earlier.
  2. Gaijin officially announced ‘IT WILL NOT ADDED IN NEXT SEPTEMBER AS YOU ALL WORRIED’

every other things are in possiblity level.

Japan may have the right to have Thai VT4 after the next update, if we consider those other sub-trees.
But we don’t know when it will be.

Maybe this December, or next year, or 20 years later. We don’t know anything further about this case.

Firstly, the VT4 made by Gaijin is of extremely poor quality and is so perfunctory that it is outrageous. The significance of its inclusion in the Thai branch is very strange. If it is strengthened for this reason, it would be even more ironic and would greatly dampen the enthusiasm of Chinese players for the game. Secondly, the timing of its addition is extremely inappropriate. If Gaijin hopes to capitalize on the popularity of the Chinese military parade, it should treat us seriously and think about what the parade is commemorating. What I hope is that the VT4 should never be added to the Japanese branch. It could easily become a member of the Chinese tech tree or a company vehicle, which could even encourage Thai players to play both branches. The downside is that it should at least not be released at this time. Otherwise, the attitude of the Gaijin official towards Chinese players will be questionable, and the expectations of Chinese players for future consumption and gameplay will inevitably be affected. I hope you can understand. This is a simple national sentiment, which every person with a complete sense of patriotism should have and can empathize with.

However, Gaijin only stated that this version won’t be added, without clarifying future possibilities. Moreover, as mentioned in the F-5E FCU article, they explicitly ruled out providing any Chinese vehicle to Japan—which remains my primary concern.

my goodness this thread devolved

I think the problem is that any decision that could be made about this topic is inherently political.

A thread of emotional gatekeepers lol

No aggression, but just asking kindly, sorry, but I can’t find a mention of that.
It would be great if I could see that official claims of Gaijin. (which you claimed you saw.)

Then we will be a lot easier to discuss.

(Disclaimer: I think about the possibility of mentioned in your regional discussion, so please let me see it for a clearer view.)

This thread is giving them headaches, but fine i’ll babysit it for a while even though its not really my job.

Uh, what’s the thai T-84 even have that’s cool about it? I dunno much about T-84 variants.

Everyone except Norinco themselves (which earned real mony from Thai) will have headaches from this thread. :|

Anyway, thanks.

Bro, even if this issue were transferred to players from other countries, it would still be hard to stay calm. So just look at the two solutions I mentioned above: one is not to introduce this vehicle at all, whether for its country of origin China or for Thailand (Japanese tech tree) which purchased this equipment. The other is to assign it to its country of origin. Either solution could basically resolve this dispute, though it might somewhat disappoint Thai players.

You’re absolutely right, brother. VT4 involves too many factors

I think that part can’t happen if we consider China already have their version of VT4.
It will be nothing more than one another lame, stale ‘foldered vehicle’

But seriously, I think all of those complicated things associated with VT4 are just trying to make my head explode.
Not only mine, but sadly, everyone here.

As multiple warnings have already been given out already i’ll lay it out one last time;

  • Please use only english here
  • Political talks are not something to be discussed on this forum
  • The vehicle has already been answered by CM’S not to come this update

There will be no more warnings, You’ll be removed from commenting if you continue to discuss the matters and turn it into political statements or discussions.

First of all its hard to ignore the complex political nature of a discussion of this scale, its just impossible to do so. I do agree with the Chinese players’ sentiment about the historical context of the addition, the timing of the supposed introduction is also severely insensitive as well.

However, I also agree with this:

If i see a nation’s which already is a sub-tree i would presume that that nation’s vehicles will go to wherever tech tree the nation’s reside in. However if the nations is not a part of a sub-tree, then i’m completely fine with it going to the original manufacturer’s nation

For the matter of the standard VT-4 not in the chinese tech tree, they can easily be added as a copy just like the Stingray is to the US tree, or rather through Pakistan, which can provide an alternative and an addition in the form of the Haider MBT (variant of the VT-4)

If i were a thai player, which has grinded the Thai Air Tree to use my own vehicles, i would certainly expect my ground vehicles to remain in the same tree, so that i can use my Thai tanks alongside my Thai jets. Seeing my air vehicles in one tree I would presume the ground vehicles would appear in the same place so i grinded the ground. Now let’s say that the Thai VT-4 gets added to China, then I need to research the entire chinese tree to get up to atleast rank 7-8 just to play my own tanks.
