Top tier strike aircraft situation

This is about air battles; that’s why I’m talking about destroying bases and not capture points. Why should you only focus on killing the enemy instead of achieving other objectives? What’s the point of having bombers and strikers then?

Because that’s how you win games currently. It’s just the way the game is built. Its a hundred times easier to kill the entire enemy team than it is to destroy 80 AI targets while the entire team is trying to kill you.

Ok, can someone explain to me why the subsonic amx a1a with 2 all aspect missiles sits at 11.3, and the German mig21 lazur, supersonic, with 6 all aspect missiles, sits at 11? Do they even play their own game?

Yes, that was something I’d mentioned earlier. Ground pounding at the beginning of the battle isn’t viable at top-tier battles, so strikers go on bombing missions. The number of bases isn’t enough, so I’m proposing to increase them.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous what you have said is?
Hey, future buyers: themadseventeen says that strikers purpose is to give free kills to fighters. So according to him, don’t buy premium packages of them unless you want to giveway RP and SL. Cheers!

The AMX has much better missiles, but it is overtiered and should be 11.0.

It is precisely the ARB system that should be completely revised

For a pure ARB player there is no need to fly bombers or strikers, except 2 reasons:

Some are good at fighting.
To learn how they behave

You can check my replays, I fly the Ayit the whole event.
Never carried bombs. Never ground pounded at the start.
Best outcome: 40k points in 8 battles.

If you struggle with ressources, buy premium days. If this is not enough, you have to work on your skill.
It’s better to have a bad fighter in your team than a good bomber.
Because that’s the way ARB works.

I check very often player records. The majority of bomber players have more days at GRB.
And I think that’s not random.

I’d prefer to remove bases from ARB at 8.0 and higher. Or remove reward for bombing, to aircrafts which can play as fighter. May be then, many planes, will get more fair BR

ARB above 10.0 striker aircrafts are at disadvantageous positions, even premiums like A5C (which ironically can’t bomb a base without incendiary) and Tornado suffers substantially, never mind the likes of JH7A and Mirage stuck at BRs they never should be, (12.3/12.7 respectively). I would much prefer for a renew of system for BRs above 10.0, and maybe reconsider air spawns for subsonic strike jets.

So it must be reworked then.

The first one will kill the strikers and bombers purchases, premium content included (which is the one that allows the game to survive). No one wants premium vehicles to have an advantage over the free ones, but we cannot afford to maintain (or completely remove) their viability.
The second suggestion might work, although it’s a bit harsh.

The issue with a complete BR rework is that, while it’s not 100% sure that it will work, it’s way more possible to screw it up. It’s also very complicated to implement it (unless you don’t care about the outcome).
The changes I’m proposing, however, are way easier to implement and don’t mess up with BR system.
As I’ve said, ofc there are planes that might need a BR change, but since it’s an individual discussion for each plane, I didn’t want to discuss it.

Air realistic EC could be a solution. Air rb matches at the higher tiers are also very short, i think an enduring confrontation mode for air realistic would be more fun not only for strike and bomber aircraft but also for fighter aircraft. Because i atleast don’t really think its fun to play fighters at higher tier in air rb mainly because of the giant furball in the middle of the map and/or the durations of the matches. And playing strike aircraft is way more fun in sim (which is enduring confrontation) than it is in air rb probably for the same reasons. So i think strike aircraft could be more usable in an realistic EC mode.

Don’t think the old kinda airspawn should come back at least.
Remember abusing the SU-22 airspawn by ending up behinnd the climbing enemies a lot before it got removed and became a strugglebus

Strike aircraft suffers near TopTier, but because almost anything is a multirole aircraft, game should mark that as they do with MBTs, see how an attacker became the apex predator on arrival (F15E, you know it’s true).
I unlocked the first Viggen in Sweden tech tree and I didn’t enjoy it, because the only reliable way to play it is as a fighter, it can’t focus on ground targets like its predecesors because the BR with all these advanced missiles make not only bombing but ground strike a risker task than before.

I love strike aircraft, by far my favorite role in game; you¿re not a bomber, you can do it. If you wait enough, position yourself accordingly and act precisely you can be the top player in a match without even a player kill, but people don’t see that, so either they try to abuse the airspawn that vanishes at some point, or rush bases and then die, its as bad as fighters doing it,at least until bombers disappear.

So yeah, strikers have a bad time if they’re dedicated attackers in ARB top tier…or even above 10.0, so a lot of them only work properly in GRB and while I like ground strike I don’t have fun being CAS in Ground battles, I can’t enjoy being THAT player.

There’s not enough map for them and even if you play good you end up facing a whole team against you.
