you can mp reliably on every map
With how splash damage is? I take my chances with kinetic/notching.
theoretically yes, actually no, because the landscape can be rather dynamic.
in practice yes because you just hug terrain by following it intelligently, on golan for example you follow the path of the divots, you don’t try to cross them
for the entire match? it’s situational and not at all a reliable way to defeat fox3s like notching and chaffing
for most of it yeah, its not that difficult if you are paying attention to what you’re doing It’s funny you say it’s not as reliable when I can not always get into a notch and change altitude in time to avoid IOG but I can almost always get to 60m before a missile hits unless I’m flying at high alt
it is funny because despite you believing this fox3s are still the most reliable way to get kills because you can’t reliable multiple over 80% of most maps, and paying more attention won’t effect where I’m engaged or just engage the enemy unless we’re the last alive and playing passively will only net you a sure death.
I can reliably multipath on pretty much all maps
you cannot because the map isn’t flat lmao, you’re not John warthunder check my profile I know top tier air rb. you’re not special at all.
Except I… do?
then you must die a lot because it’s very situational as I’ve previously stated, and tbh I try not to use it unless I’m try harding because it’s not how radar works irl missiles can hit you right into the weeds unless you’re notching, no escape zones are real. I wish they’d at least turn it off in sim.
I die quite a bit less than the average player
I mean, we still don’t have stock parts.
No, spending 2 full minutes repairing to only be able to move at 3 km/h unable to turn at all hardly counts xD
Stock FPE was nice though.
It’s more like researching smoke on tanks, kinda helpful but way less important than other stuff.
You don’t need chaff, it’s often the last modification I get, you might just have a skill issue.
Nothing has changed, the scenario remains the same, when there was no flare stock the game’s meta was ir missiles going into furballs, multipathing was reliable and 100m.
Now you have stock flares and no chaff, in the fox3 meta with unreliable 60m multipathing.
The scenario is still bad, he didn’t change, he only changed the missiles, the stock grind is still miserable.
The question is not even a skill issue, you just haven’t reached Fox 3 combat, where not having chaffs is completely unsustainable, you have good KD with your planes, the issue is that playing above 13.0 without chaff is the same as playing 11.7 to 12.7 without flare.
Multipathing is still much more reliable than chaff…
I do believe I have,
It absolutely is sustainable, multipath, go cold and jink the missiles,
I may have an acceptable KD in props but for jets I barely break a 1 KD, that’s not great. I don’t even think my JAS-39 KD is above 1.
definitely not, flying low you are subject to taking splash damage without taking into account that you lose a lot of space on the map, you become an easy target
Missile data link easily frustrates this, playing without chaff is the same as trying to dodge any missile with irccm without using countermeasures.
I mean, I never carry chaff and it’s never been an issue. Only time I’ve died to SARH/ARH missiles are when I’m in a possition where I made a mistake
I don’t die to splash damage almost ever.Almost exclusively an AIM-54 issue.
