Top tier GB Russia is so damn weak. Gaijin REALLY needs to add more modernised tanks instead of the dumb T-72B3 ‘Arena’ (a less modern copy-paste). Same can be said for America since the Sep v2 is the nearly same as the SEP and they’re even easier to kill than Russian tanks, but I’d argue they’re much better off cause they’re more forgiving with good reverse speeds.

Why can’t Gaijin just give us the M1A2 SEPv3 and T-90M Obr. 2025/24?

T-90M: The 2023, 24, and 25 variants add a lot more Relikt instead of cope cages with actual metal containers rather than bags. Either this or the T-90M Arena-M with a reverse gear from the T-14 Armata, but it’s only seen in ONE showcase video. I also think it’d be nice to see a T-90M Nakidka upgrade as well with the thermal tarp which is ideal for WT due to match length being quite short.

M1A2: There’s literally no reason for the SEPv3 to not be added. Gaijin hasn’t implemented the technologies modern tanks have anyway (like tracking vehicles) so it’s just armor, speed, and firepower that are looked at. SEPv3 is an upgrade to armor and speed (also with technologies that don’t matter for WT) so there’s nothing stopping Gaijin from adding it.

All in all I want both, but I think the T-90M Arena-M or Obr.2024-2025 would be better than adding the SEPv3 since they have upgrades that actually matter in War Thunder’s environment, but knowing Gaijin we won’t get either and we will instead get the Leopard 2A8 for Germany and a premium variant for Sweden of course :)

The US could for sure use something to buff its top tier performance rn but russia having shit tanks is literally the only thing keeping up some semblance of balance in top tier

Russia GRB is terrible. Like utterly terrible. Bad reload, easy weakspots, decent ammo that bounces sometimes, and absolutely no reverse.

I wouldn’t say it’s a skill issue but frankly it is, since you called it a “biased game”.

I agree with this but this just comes from a stupidly immense CAS issue that Gaijin just can’t fix out of mediocrity.

Blud, russia has quite literally the highest winrate at 12.7, not among the majors no, just plain the highest. If they made russian tanks better then that would just aggravate the CAS problem further.

Sounds biased since im a RU main but USA’s abrams is a very good tank, imo MILES MILES better than the RU T80’s and T72’s (Dont have the T90M yet)

Russia ground toptier and ground only feels so hyper aids to play.

There’s very few top tier tanks that are worse than the Russian ones lol. As someone with no interest in CAS but a love for the small profile and design of RU tanks, I hate the game.

Nobody has “the smallest weakspots”. Russia just has the most reliable weakspots to hit since the tanks are cramped.

12.7 GRB Russia steamrolls every other NATO nation every game. Just play 100 games against Russia as a NATO nation, and see the result.

Look at the matchmaking, 80% of the people play Russia at 12.7.

Skilled content creators and the best players of the game main Russia at top tier.

There is a reason to that. The game is biased, it is objectively easier to dominate with Russia than any other nation.

Uh size is a pretty objective thing so yeah ofc someone has the smallest weakspots. And its not particularly surprising that that price goes towards the smallest tanks that are also the only ones with a properly armored UFP and armored sides. And in the time of turret baskets russian weakspots are not more reliable than anyone elses.

Imo Sweden is 30 times better than Russia.

Eitherway I’m on about tanks when I say GRB. Russian tanks are terrible to play

Russian weakspots are 100% more reliable than any other, i’ve had countless moments where leo’s just eat my dart killing 1 crew member and that crew member only, and ive NEVER not disabled a gun breech shooting near the cheeks/roof of RU vehicles, where VT’s and ZTZ’s make the breech yellow.

If you hit a Leopard 2 in 2026 and you dont disable the turret basket then thats 100% on you.
