Top tier Britain in 2026

If anything the Su-30MKI would be more likely

The 2E over the CR3? Is the extra mobility really that good? Only just got the SL to buy/crew it but dunno if I should bother

F/A-18F does pretty decent as CAS imo

Though I’m still using the Tonka for it anyway

To summerize top tier Brittan, Gaijin thinks a 75 ton tank is gonna have worse armor than a base model Leopard 2, and that a foot worth of NERA add on composites on the side and front of a tank can’t stop 30mm APDS.

Oh, and L27A1 is basically a 10.0 round.

meanwhile a single layer of some Cardboard and C4 on russian MBTs can stop APFSDS.

OH YEAH, and despite multiple reports of the contrary, and even extensive testing, bag charges are compressed Napalm that immediately nuke a tank upon even a SINGLE one being hit, despite being a low yield, Low volatility powder, that burns slowly and is specifically only designed to explode properly when inside the breach of the gun.

CR3 is a downgrade. 6 second reload as if its a leo 2 equivalent when the ariete has a 5 second reload. No spall liner in the turret and all the ammo in the turret with no blow out panels. Could be 11.3 and be fine.

Also sucks to use optic wise, the zoom is SO bad, and the velocity is so high that without the LRF you are screwed.

Welcome to digital zoom not being accounted for. No clue why this is a thing as its going to effect EVERY modern tank with a digital screen… So now were stuck with flat 10x sights on top tier tanks and ifvs.

yeah how TF are you supposed to aim this decently in the fast paced gameplay at top tier without a LRF.

One tiny move and you go from, shooting at 400m, to 1200m.

Somehow the Romor ERA on the Challenger 1s, Protects the same KE wise, as the foot thick NERA composite array on the side of the TES.

gaijin believes that the ke is correct as at 30 or so degrees it CAN protect against 25mm apfsds. The problem is that from what we know it shouldnt have to go through 3 or 4 blocks before it stops the round, it should only require 1.

Its a foot thick slab of Kevlar and ceramics, Its gonna stop more than that.

The idea of composite armor is that its lighter and more effective than just solid steel.

And 300mm of Steel is gonna do alot more than that.

I mean go look at a Kentucky Ballistics video and look at what just like 2 inches of that stuff can stop.

Im not saying it should stop full on Tank APFSDS, But it really should be stopping stuff like the 2S38’s overperforming to hell round, and the HSTVLs.

Technically not more effective in terms of ke, its meant to be more weight efficient than steal, sacrificing volume for lighter armour with comparable protection to rha.

That is of course as long as its not russian where the t80u somehow gains ke resistance over straight rha. Like a slab of rha as thick as the ufp of the t80u would be less effective than what we have in game which just isnt realistic.

after this update the list of best MBT’s has shifted quite a bit imo

1: STRV-122B+/SEP-V3
2: STRV-122B+/SEP-V3
3: Leopard 2A7HU/2A7V
4: T-80BVM
5: Type-10/TKX
6: Merkava MK4-M
7: Black Knight
8: Leclerc AZUR/SXXI
9: Challenger 2E
10: ZTZ99A
11: Ariete AMV
12: T-90M “ARENA”
13: VT4-A1

obviously that list is personal preference but i hate the soviet style mbt playstyle and i do still prefer the challengers even in there terrible state

(also the top 3 stayed basically the same but instead of SEP-V1 its now SEP-V3 and the 2A7 got pushed down)

Alvis has brain damage as seen by every take of his. Best to ignore the guy
