Nope buddy, the turret ring is exposed to any IFV and WW2 tanks, the first thing that’s get disabled is the Horizontal aiming drive.

The shell will almost always pass through the driver and kill the engine and turret ring.
Nah the front is very vulnerable and can be easily killed from it, any top tier shell can penetrate it.
It’s even worse with 3bm60.
Muh… 5 sec reload be grateful, we didn’t ask for the reload buff in the first place, people wanted competitive armor we got reload, what a joke.

Reload is fine, but the armor also needs buffed cause the Abrams will always have that turret ring issue and it only gets slower from here.
I suggested Crew Flak Vests awhile back
Take away the reload and give us armor like the real one, funny how no Abrams in real life got penned from the front in its history but in Warthunder a “Realistic game” its made from plastic.
T-80BVM is not superior to your team’s tanks.
Merkava has issues that need fixing of course.

Any leopard can be taken out by a big WW2 guns with HE with a one-tap in the turret. All can take out the gun, and some can go through the breech. Be happy you lose a turret ring first and get time to back away.
it being green does not mean it aint going to ricoche, have you seen the STRV-103? Tons of shit have a clear pen straight through, but they tend to still ricoche.
Y’all really just complaining that you have to use your advantages to fight others and aim for weak spots (like EVERYONE else who wants to reliably kill you), instead of rushing first into the heat of battle trying to brawl with a tank better suited for sniping or holding down a point on the map.

90% of the shots on an Abrams hull lead to full crew death, just like this one. With full vitality + expert (even aced) crew, by the way, but spalling is just too much. It’s like a frag grenade going off inside the crew compartment.
And this one was also through the whole armored fuel tank, which did nothing but to generate tons of additional spalling.
Speaking of the external fuel tanks, their geometry and thickness are underperforming, but nothing has been done to fix them even though it was acknowledged:

I didn’t mention HE did i? a normal shell straight to the turret ring it would damage it or even disable it, 200mm of KE protection is not enough at all.
That’s a thing to be happy about? there’s a big chance you gonna lose the engine also, so the possibility to run away to repair is gone.
I play with the US players, they literally have to hide and focus waiting for braindead Russian mains to hold W to get easy kills, if you try to push like any other superior nation does you gonna get stomped on but somehow you guys always mention US mains while Russia had winrates next to the US not untill they got SU25SM3 and object 292 to save them.
