Air RB not only has way too much enemies against you but also your teammates. It is really hard to get a kill when there are 10 friendlies launching their missiles.
For example, in a 60km BVR you disguised enemy r27 relock tactic? Got the perfect geometry to launch on him from different sides? Notched his missile? - You may think that this is a kill and a win in a BVR. BUT when there are only 5km left for the missile to finish the enemy some IDIOTIC FRIENDLY MISSILE of the teammate who didn’t even take part in a BVR gets your kill. Trying to kill the enemy from afar? - Your missile wouldn’t reach them quickly enough unlike your other teammate missile who is closer to the enemy then you and who will get a kill and you will not. And obviously we all hate when somebody interrupts into our dogfights I don’t even need to explain this one.
I think devs may think that I will be happy if my teammates get the kills because, omg, we will win the game. BUT in this game winning doesn’t matter anything - this is a game about personal stats and personal grind WINNING GIVES YOU ALMOST NOTHING. Instead of playing carefully and outplaying the enemies the game forces us to rush into the furball to race the teammates in order to get a kill quicker then your 15 teammates each trying to get a kill for themselves and if you aren’t quicker then your teammates and they steal the kill - grind takes even longer.
So the solution is not only making the lobbies have less players so the killsteal is less often but also introducing good rewards for teamwin/teamwork, and making the game progression not being focused PURELY on personal stats
