I think, when you look at the overall games played with Helis, they don’t nearly compare to plane options and with that, the difference they typically make comes when matches are all but wrapped up. The Helicopter problem is that there is no defined space for them in the combat of war thunder. I think if you’re getting just about .9-1.0 respawn to destruction ratio with a helicopter, than you’re likely doing more than what the vast majority of helicopters in the game do. It’s not like CAS where 1.0 is borderline god awful because of the prohibitive spawn costs, where only 1 kill doesn’t justify the spawn cost.

The ka-50 and 52 have swung violently throughout their history in terms of being either useless as they typically are now or down right broken lol.

No? We ask for tank only gamemode for a long time, i wouldn’t consider myself a og even tho i played this game for 6 year stright basically, but a lot of player asked for naval or ground only gamemode, CAS is ruining the meta of war thunder sometimes

BMPT is ruining stuff, is missile carriers ruining meta? Is tow carts, strum, khrizantema, rakjpz, etc being an issue?

Same for CAS.

Also the meta was and always should be CAS being strong to some point that it still worth the SP, that someone would still play it, that it means something in a battle.

tbh for me I’ve never seen any to mode/ cas complaints without seeing coping about cas deaths as if at campers. Typical arena fps mindset. similar to asking tow carts not to camp.

And I don’t even get bombed much…

This can be extended to fnf helis also. Known that tiger with pars3 wasn’t an issue.
