At the moment the only viable option to grind top attackers are bases - which makes the gameplay BORING!
Most attack planes do not have the required precise weaponry to deal with medium targets (MBTs) in mass (for example the SU-24M has only 5 hardpoints for laser guided missiles and you need to guide all of them individually, which means you will spent 1-2 minutes per target at best).
After wasting your time on medium target you only get 40 points… 💀
There USED to be bunkers on some maps, but now they are either gone or rare, those gave 80 points, which is a bit better.
Light vehicles are useless with only giving 20 points.
Those numbers are abysmal considering how much effort it requires.
IT’S NOT ABOUT THE GRIND ITSELF WHICH SUCKS, I JUST WANT TO HAVE MORE THINGS TO DO IN BATTLE AS AN ATTACKER!
PS. Also the realistic bot models suck, the older more simpler ones were MUCH easier to destroy, now the targets are tankier, yet provide no additional points to account for difficulty increase.

Would be down for this if only apply to strike aircraft and nerf fighter rp/sl gain from base to force people who play fighter to play like a fighter

That would be great honestly!
To offset the debuff to fighters they could give them better missile options on base research, so it would be a viable option to go for air targets from the start.
I personally enjoy both fighters and attackers, but the fighter gameplay is much more in depth compared to the attacker one, this needs to change!
