But you do have it, the game provides it.
Everyone can use it, how is it not fair.
No, the 3rd party software provides it on your HUD.
No, it’s literally the game that provides the info
It isn’t though, is it? If it would be provided by the game, you wouldn’t need a third party software to overlay the info on your HUD.
if the addition is not proposed by the game itself, it cannot be used by everyone, making your assertion is forgetting console players for whom making this type of modification is much more complicated
It’s not drawn by the game, but it’s provided by it
Haha, maybe because for me this would be considered most obvious!
Okay, so player A somehow sees targets on his screen that others have to switch to map view to target.
Yes, that IS unfair.
Let’s look at a concrete example: I fly an A-10 and struggle to find those last pesky 105mm ATG’s. I see them on the map, but they’re hard to spot from the cockpit…
So hey, presto, use that script and see those guns nicely marked, if not in elevation, then at least their azimuth…
No, it doesn’t provide it in the cockpit view, only in a separate, abstract view you have to switch to, not as direct overlay!
It’s SIM we’re talking about here. If you’re so set on using a RB-style overlay, why not play RB?
Sure console players can’t have it drawn on their screen, but can have it on their phone, laptop or something else
If you are so set that this info shouldn’t be available, why not remove it?
People are trying to compare this to an “Aimbot”, it’s not an aimbot.
If we are to draw any comparisons, this exploit would be comparable to something like the types of wall hack we see in other games:
It also goes against the whole nature of the simulator battles difficulty. Looking at OP’s post, it’s also pretty clear he’s a Zomber.
It should not be allowed.
Except it’s not even that. To get these cheats you have to read the memory, something that’s clearly forbidden in section 6, as it’s a modification of the client. Here the game itself exports this data, in a human readable format as well as json.
It’s not an aimbot, it is the very definition of an ESP, which stands for Extra-Sensory Perception. Still a cheat.
Yeah, I definitely consider it a cheat, at the very least for the Simulator battles game-mode.
I see a very simple solution to this, don’t expose this data in sim battles, if that’s how it’s meant to be played.
Anyhow, Stona and mods have made it pretty clear that it’s not allowed. I would highly suggest you do not use this crap, unless you want to be part of the next ban-wave.
It’s not worth risking your account.
Is it really that different to having a second monitor/device displaying the map (provided by Gaijin) with enemy targets on it?
OR don’t fish for fish that you are not supposed to get…
That’s clear, no one have been authorized to modify game in order to add info for gme purposes,
only testing have been aurhorized thus why WRTI is authorized
