Tokushu Heiki: F-100F Super Sabre

Alright turns out I can’t actually buy gjn coin with steam wallet anyway so LMAO I can’t get any gjn coin, I’m just gonna have to try to grind the event

The Yak-141 should not get R-60Ms and F-5C should not get flares, then, and be balanced accordingly. Agree with me on historical accuracy vs balancing or not, I am not a hypocrite.

Yak-141 was a prototype, false equivalence fallacies like yours are annoying.
Flares don’t exist on F-100F unless proven otherwise.

@TyTheGuy27
Sure, give Yak-141 R-73s instead.

@Smin1080p Can you address any of the concerns multiple people have brought up regarding the decision to not include AIM-9Ps on an aircraft that will likely be below 10.0 despite aircraft at that BR (T-2) already having 9Ps and many not having flares.

That and maybe explain why every air reward is just a ground reward 2.0. Are air players not worth Gaijin’s time nowadays? Why can’t we get something that can compete in air?

T-2 doesn’t have 4 AIM-9Ps, F-1 at 10.3 does.

It just feels like every event plane recently has been a way for gaijin to provide CAS aircraft for ground players who don’t want to grind out air trees. It’s complete BS…

I don’t mind it every now and then, but we finally get a fighter after a whole year of just strike aircraft… and it’s just a fake fighter. Kfir C.2 was the last decent-ish fighter, since then we’ve had:

  • [Rank 6] F-4D Wingrip A-10/A-6 All-aspect food
  • [Rank 6, now 7] Jaguar E (Strike)
  • [Rank 8] Tornado IDS (strike)
  • [Rank 7] A-7K (Strike)
  • [Rank 7] Su-25BM (Strike)
  • [Rank 6] F-100F (“”““Fighter””“”)

Why can’t we actually for once get a semi-decent operation copy/paste fighter reward that isn’t rank 6 attacker food… Not like there are a lack of options, even with some of them having the ability to do CAS as well but are at least competent fighters at the higher ranks. Stuff like:

  • Mig-21 LanceR A (can carry Python 3, R-73, R-60, and guided A2G stuff)
  • F-4E Terminator 2020 (Basically Kurnass 2000 but with sparrows and sidewinders)
  • IAI Super Phantom (Similar to Kurnass 2000, but with F-15 engines - 1 built)
  • F-4E-53+ (F-4E, but gets mavericks, smokeless engines, and could get 9Ls/7F if the snail wanted to give it some other unique armament)
  • F-8 IIM (J-8, but with Russian avionics and weapons)

Instead for some reason every time since the Kfir C.2, if we get a fighter reward it’s just premium all-aspect attacker bait… or a strike aircraft cosplaying as a fighter on the statcard.

Those should be tech tree aircraft.
Tho I will say there are fighter options that are genuinely unique that could suffice.
Such as Vought XF8U-3 Crusader III.

Romania doesn’t have a line yet, although I agree that it should be in the tree if it is merged with Hungary to make a unique line that isn’t just copy/paste Russia + Gripen (but you know copy/paste is what we’re going to get)-

Turkey won’t get a line as it doesn’t really have anything unique and Hungary/Romania will fill the gaps for Italy. The Terminator 2020 doesn’t really fit into a tree anywhere and is a perfect candidate to add an event vehicle.

IAI Super Phantom is not a tree vehicle. It was a 1-off prototype for the Kurnass 2000 eventual improvements - and never entered service. That would be like saying the F-16XL and the YF-17 should be in the tree.

I 100% agree with the F-4E-53+ should be in the tree. It should’ve been in the tree at least 1 year ago. Hell, would be a perfect use case for “we don’t want to increase BR”, by just adding as a folder of the F-4E with the reduced RP cost. But I think at this point it’s clear they’re done with phantoms in the tree and are moving on to newer stuff like F-16, F-15, and F/A-18.

I was just mentioning copy/paste stuff at rank 7+ (where all the recent strike rewards sit). This would be cool, but I wonder if it would have flares. Without flares it would be just as DoA as the other rank 6/7 flareless aircraft are - and because the prototype looks like it never had flares, I could see the snail going “flares are ahistorical”. This would put the aircraft in a position that is just not fun to play for more than a few matches for most players.

Edit… of course it removed the “Reply”… I hate the new forums sometimes… :/

  • F-4E-58 should add to tech tree in folder of F-4E because avionics, targeting pod and Air-to-Air Missile & Air-to-Ground armament better F-4E-53 in tech tree

  • F-4E Terminator 2000 could add to independent turkey tree, I think for F-4E Terminator 2000 something better Kurnass 2000 especially Air-to-Ground armament and radar

  • IAI Super Phantom not bad event vehicle rank 8 for Israel tree

  • F-8IIM good candidate event vehicle rank 8 for china tech tree

Check again, most recent update added 9Ps to the T-2

Thanks for agreeing with my statement.

It gets two 9Ps the quantity hardly matters in this case. The 10.0 statement was meant as a general range. Stop trying to gatcha and not pick dude.

No one’s trying to do a gacha; apologies if my comment came off in a negative manner.
Quantity does matter, 4 9Ps would make T-2 10.3 alongside F-1 as they’d be identical for air RB.

Fair point. Looking at the thrust to weight ratios on both the T-2 and F-1, at this point not sure if they can justify the BR difference between the two given. Since the missile numbers and the T
F-1’s radar is the only substantial differences performance wise.

It’s probably faster to grind one of the many F-100s through a TT than it will be doing 70k mission points per day with the event. All that for some bullpubs Lol
Wth happened to crafting events? Went from exciting to tedious.
Nvm, I take it back. The leaked rewards look absolutely cracked. Pls be true :)

The EAP BAe was a prototype named a demonstrator SPECIFICALLY for political reasons yet that was denied, Russian bias exists whether you like it or not. Russian bias being money bias and this also applies to US since Gaijin only cares about money and not the nation.

Weird, Kikka, J7W1, VB10-02, Narvall are all aircraft that aren’t American nor Soviet.
So no, the bias doesn’t exist. EAP BAE demonostrator was turned into a production vehicle which means you have to use the armed versions.

It would be cool to see more unique fighter plane rewards like they did with the Kingcobra. I actually traded my MiG-21PFM and T-10A for it, because it’s so cool and I wasn’t around for that event.

EAP BAE demonostrator was turned into a production vehicle which means you have to use the armed versions

The BAe EAP wasn’t just “turned into a armed version” but was a made for the simple purpose of testing avionics and aerodynamics. The BAe EAP is basically a prototype Eurofighter but technically they are NOT the same vehicle.

Weird, Kikka, J7W1, VB10-02, Narvall are all aircraft that aren’t American nor Soviet

I’ve already made a complaint about this and these vehicles will be removed once a vehicle is available to take their spot.

No, those vehicles will never be removed, because they were all built.
