I meant @AurenKarach . “How can you say” was just a figure of speech. 2nd paragraph was also about him.
This is the opposite of what mains usually say. Maybe there’s a clue for you in there.
I’ll keep that in mind the next time I kill an IS-3.
When interrogated by the Allies, Heydekampf said German production plans for 1945 (obv with extremely unrealistic output goals) were as follows:
He is getting hung up on the fact that I said “just like you would aim at an IS-2’s weak spot, you can aim at the IS-3’s gun barrel”.
That also doesn’t mean they are equally easy to kill, by the way. But is it a shot you can do? Yes. Will it result in a dead IS-3 unless you’re facing multiple opponents or very far away? Also yes.
Ngl, i avoid shooting barrels as much as i can because i know how annoying it is when it happens to me.
It will still feel the same when it meet the IS-3 and 4… or the T-10. They all use the same gun as IS-2 which only can pen the same weak spot.
I respect that attitude. But personally I don’t believe in one-sided limitations. People won’t hesitate to shoot my barrel, after all. If the game allows it, it’s fair game for me tbh.
why? just shoot it… it your enemy. They do not deserve to live. They killed bunch of your allies already.
Also a fair take.
Personally, i try to keep some honor code like we had long ago in game.
Same reason why i dont revenge bomb when i use cas. (Unless they are spawn camping or something)
How long have you been playing?
You base your credibility entirely on the fact that you main Germany and you say they are OP. This doesn’t make your claims any more true. Being reverse biased doesn’t mean you’re right.
You have less credibility than 90% of German mains, who also have played at least 1 other nation at ranks 4 and 5.
EVERY tank has a gun barrel you can aim at. It’s not IS-3’s weakspot.
I will have to check but since at least the closed beta of ground
Checked. 8/22/2013
Its weak spot is pretty easy to aim at It driver hatch. You can also try to use HE to overpressure it on the driver hatch and on the top of the turret.
Never said Germany is OP. I said that before the engine nerfs, the Tiger II Serienturm versions were a bit too strong for 6.7, something which was additionally corroborated by Gaijin themselves. And that now with the nerf, it’s fine at 6.7.
Feel free to call it bias, but in my book, data weighs more than words. And certainly more than ad hominems like,
You’re looking at the finger, rather than the moon. The ability to kill an IS-3 by barreling it does not stem from the fact that it has a gun barrel. It stems from the fact that you have amazing reload, which multiplies your effective firepower. This is hardly a difficult concept to grasp.
So nice to talk to one of the OGs. Respect.
Now i feel old lol
I usually don’t bring up stats, but you literally don’t have ANY games at rank 4 and 5 if we don’t count Germany.
The irony
Germany is indeed very OP. Nothing is wrong about that. other then half of their playerbase being pure blind.
So the E-100 is going to get an 500HP engine?
I dont know what engine was supposed to go into the E-100 and if it would have had a governed performance rate so cant comment on that.
No. But I have 1500 matches in the Tiger II Sla. I see it perform well. That’s the first, more limited data point.
I meet plenty of IS-3s in these matches. Sometimes I kill them, sometimes they kill me, normal War Thunder stuff.
Then Gaijin claims the tank is over-performing and they’d move it to 7.0 but won’t because of the community backlash - another data point. Then they nerf its engine, which will likely lead to it staying at 6.7 with a lower but still good efficiency.
Then Statshark arrives. I go see the numbers for the Tiger IIs and lo and behold: they’re doing well in the game across over 100k matches. Even despite being played by newer players. That’s the third, and most robust, data point.
Against these data points we have you coming into this thread to call me insane, retarded, and a biased main.
Yeah. Sorry if I’m not impressed, bro.
That’s because when I start a new tech tree, I usually start with air and coastal first. Though that still doesn’t look right. I have spaded the ground American lineup at 1.0 a few months ago and it isn’t showing in that screenshot. In any case, as I’ve already said, you’re clinging desperately to this thing rather than arguing with my points because you would rather de-legitimise me personally through ad hominems than you would confront the data, and you’re more than welcome to keep wasting your time that way.
Of you once again not addressing the point that reload is a firepower multiplier? Yes, ironic indeed.
There is 2 engine options for the E-100. One of them is the HL230 and the other one is the HL232 But I don’t think germany has that resource to build such powerful engine and instead will use the TIger 2 engines.
