Based on my experience, one side is always easier to win, you will always have success heading to c1 route to spawn camp lol
ah yes small version of sand of Sinai which is master craft of piece of sht
yeah, this version turns from okay map into piece of sht and not just that spot.
Every square past B point is a pure mess of camping.
Not necessarily, a lot of the times but yeah. If u successfully push right side/left side or holds middle on A side, u can pretty easily kill entire teams, but that I admit is hard to do. Getting B is the best solution cause u can snipe A.
the map is extremely flawed.
the north side have to cross open terrain on the left side where quite a lot get killed.
The south side got cliffs most of the way, so they can drive in decent cover and fairly easy get to camp the left spawn.
the south side also got a good cover in the middle of the map just south of the zone E4, where the north side have stay more back behind scattered cover.
And yet.
I don’t even see this as the worst map, not by a long shot
North side has an identical setup for C side. It’s a perfect mirror map, and the best in the game.
North and South are equally easy to win on Sinai.
Clearly not, if u notice, there is access to A with cover on one side, and not the other, aka A is 99% secured for the south team. B and C are fair contests, but that said, the north side have a fair few snipe spots which means B is less likely to be taken without C, whilst this could happen in tandem or separation for south side. Pushing left side also destroys a lot of players at start and there is almost no countering.
A is irrelevant to winning, the fact people still spawn A side is baffling.
Well opening with one point lost is pretty big loss no? And the fact that unless u win C B is hard to get is also annoying. A is then obviously relevant to winning, cause it is a fair fight over the other two, so A will just be free advantage.
One point is lost to both sides, not just North.
C and B were always the plays on Sinai.
And yes, the map is perfectly symetrical and is a fair fight between North and South, glad you agree with me and accept facts.
Ok, so C and B are 50/50s, so if one is captured by each team, north will have 1 and south will have two, they win.
The stats I saw was 7 to 3 or sth like that, so no, not at all.
No, South would have 1, no one captured A.
Why? South capture A easily, cause they don’t need to face any contact to get there and they can lock down any north side access.
South can’t capture A, cause they’re out in the open just like the North.
South is locked down by B point defense, just like North is locked down by B point defense.
Seriously? U know that passage on the left that gets u in? Every game there would be a light tank that caputres it.
Thanks for proving that south side is out in the open just like the north.
Every game there would be a light tank that dies in that opening.
It’s way less open than what the north spawn has to deal with. I’m fairly sure you can be almost completely hidden from most areas.
The south spawn also gets free access to spawn camp, while the north side has to make a dash across an open, flat desert in order to get to safety.
More than ever, I think map discussion should have it’s own dedicated forum section
Okay that is actually a map problem. The map makes u think it is in the open whilst in reality u can hide behind the barrels. Although both sides can do that, north side won’t even get that far.
yeah.
Basically covered, only one narrow cross to base and that can be smoked.
have to agree on that A side, south is more covered by rocks and also oil containers. They are easily spotted by light tank, but hard to kill if they dont pass those rocks (stupidly) from front.
But in other hand, B is easyer to get from north spawn, people just dont tend to push it on fast light or mbt.
Cas is also bit unbalanced , since north spawn get lot worse covers for AA’s and worse “spawn” on planes and helos. A lot more open room to use AA on south spawn, and helo spawn on north side gives lot less cover compared to south ( if not using F&F helos)
