This is one of my favourite maps, though I completely ignore the A side and its entire existence, I fight exclusively at C side and also support B.
The A cap doesnt give you any map control. You cant really do anything with it once you’ve capped it. You want to play B and C, because the C cap gives much more map control if you can push past it, while B and the surrounding area allows overwatch of the rest of the map including A.
I dont see any difference in win rate really, It feels pretty 50/50 to me honestly.
There are far, far worse maps in the game than this.
Pretty meh map balance wise but it’s good for farming kills.
Red team by default has A cap and will be able to reach a spot to spawn camp A3 basically unseen.
They also have much easier/safer access to the hill where B is located, as from which you can punish people that peek out from C cap.
I don’t play on C side so I won’t comment there, but from my experience that side is mostly irrelevant to winning. Most of the times Red team controls B1 spawn camp spot, rocks on C3 and D4 which basically blocks off half of the map.
There are no barrels at the entrance of A.
Unlike you, I’ve played the map and South has NEVER capped A when I spawned North and spawned A side, cause they couldn’t get passed the open.
I actually love that map. I feel like both sides have a good chance to win. However, nothing rustles my jimmies more than people that camp at E6 all game without even bothering to help the team at C.
I think its a fair point, but mostly because of the BR range you’re playing the the example. This map should never appear in games over 6.0 Higher BR vehicles with speed and firepower domination the key points too quickly and exaggerate the map imbalance. You don’t see that happening in the mid BR ranges and so you have a more balanced map there.
