Guys, I just found that there’s a difference between BMPT and BMPT-72 - BMPT-72 has a 80-mm thick side armor, while BMPT has 70mm. From what I know, most of Soviet tanks are with 80-mm thick side armor (exceptions are the early stages T-64, with difference armor between capsule and MTO.) I have the patent file for BMPT-72, so it’s renewed from existing T-72 chassis, what about BMPT? Can anyone provide declassified drawings(like patents or manuals)? I will definitely sign the nickname of anyone who help if I quote them in future!
