Then don’t get hit by them. Stock ammo, stock adjustment of fire, stock gun elevation, no parts and no improved FPE. Plus no movement upgrades so they will be sluggish.
You have all the advantages - you getting hit is more on you than it is on the free spaa.
I like CAS, but there can be an issue where a lot of people may not grind the SPAA line and therefore lack an SPAA, which can cause an imbalance.
But I think its fine, but it should have an increased SP cost 2-3x the base SP cost for an SPAA, it maybe shouldnt be a fully spaded SPAA, perhaps limit it in some way (where appropriate, like not getting the best missile) or it shouldnt be the best for the BR, it maybe even should specifically be one from a slightly lower BR (so for example, if playing Britain at 10.3, you would get the Rapier not Strela/OSA)
How players who have grinded this vehicles got screwed over?
Because they did it for no reason since you can get them for free now, the issue doesn’t affect me becuase I don’t care that much about it but I can see why someone who bothered grinding the entire SPAA line (which is ignored by some people) doesn’t like seeing them being given away for free
There is a reason as You can grind modifications and use it in all battles
Some SPAA don’t have important modifications as they already start with their best missile (Pantsir, HQ17, Tor-M1, Adats, Strela, Stormer HVM) or the modifications aren’t that important

Parts/FPE are the most important parts and You need the vehicle in order to get them

Barely relevant for SPAA unless you’re getting yourself in the frontlines trying to fist fight MBTs
You know that planes/helis can damage You and if You are unable to repair/put out the fire, You might be killed much more eaisly?
You’re not doing a good SPAA job if you let them damage you at all, in fact you’re more likely to die straight away after being hit by a LMUR or some other CAS ordinance, and if you let planes or helis get close enough they can hit you with their guns you deserve the lack of parts and FPE tbh

How you know this if the only plane you play its the F-4S and barely touch spaa (2s6)?
I who have the whole germany and israeli TT researched and played, I can say I have no problem at all.
Near-misses can damage and a lot of ordinance can be launched from a long distance. Plus ground units can damage spaa as well. Saying parts are not important to spaa is just stupid.
The only vehicles I don’t research parts first on are the early US tanks that come with crap default ammo. Then, if the upgrade aphe shell is in 1st tier of mods I will research that before parts. Otherwise, parts first, even on spaa.
Damn, there are already 6 Kh-38MT flying mach 10 toward my unarmored AA truck. Good thing I got those parts and FPE in case I get hit by one!
