There should be an Option to disable Anime Profile Pictures

Basically Title.

Why doesn’t the Option to disable fictional Decal/Camouflages do that? I don’t want to see someones AI generated Anime Slop whether thats on the Tank or Profile Picture.

While the decorators still visible, camouflages, specially fictional camouflages are optional to the user:

Using Ling’s MBT-2000 exclusive camouflage as example—it’s tagged as fictional, which you can disable fictional content:

I know.

I am asking for it to include the profile pictures specifically all those Anime and Furry ones. I do not want to see this type of …‘Stuff’…

Understandable(I know my username is an anime reference but considering how they devolved into whatever they are now please ignore it). I can understand not wanting to see all those profile pics.

I mean… You only see them when you look at someones profile. The camo and stuff I understand but what exactly is hurting your feelings so bad about people using whatever profile pictures they want? The profile doesn’t need to be historic because it’s the player. Not the crew

I do not like seeing it here either, and I’m pretty sure there are situations where you see the players pfp regardless, just give an option to make it the default

I watched a few Anime myself like Ghost in the Shell - would still like to have an Option to disable it.

Isn’t just because it is Anime but i very much dislike the ‘specific Style’ Gaijin went with them…the Furry ones i just can’t stand ill admit to that.

I normally play ARB and leave as soon as I die so I actually forgot it shows on the kill cam(Honesty hate kill cam on GRB but not the thread for it) sorry. With that in mind, I guess I can understand it. Maybe when you pick your pfp you have to select a “default” one that’ll ahow for people with this option enabled?

Disable tank CQC and air notch and MP before doing this to the more realistic anime.

Soldiers at the front line do anime stuff more than tank and plane CQC

It’s unsettling to see things safer for families than the WW2 pinups that are in-game?
Are you sure about that…

This stuff is tame compared to what real pilots do.

I doubt gaijin will ever fix this and either way you’ll probably only see those pfp when you die to to them (unless you specifically go to their profile) so to gaijin its probably not that big of an issue

I agree but also most times the players of those vehicles are extremely inexperienced so they should very rarely kill you

Nope, I see where he is coming from. I love anime, but i dont see any place for it in a (heavy quotes) “War Simulator” game. Keep that stuff to Genshin or whatever

It’s just weird and immersion braking thats all, we each have different opinions on things :)
