Yeah but there’s also the fact that they can go back to low tier while still using that pfp where their skill is similar to everyone else’s. I don’t play top tier (I rarely play non WW2 vehicles, but most of the time the people that come back to lower BRs with these pfps are the seal clubbers.

What pisses me off the most is that the character designs for the women in Senrai Maiden completely fail to reflect each country’s culture or military aesthetic. The worst offenders are Elsa and Usagi by far. Skin-tight suits? What the hell is that supposed to be!? Give them proper tank crew uniforms! Why aren’t they wearing black uniforms!? And why the hell does Usagi have bright blue hair!? Besides “Usagi” isn’t even a person’s name! It’s just the Japanese word for rabbit. The literal translation of Leporidae!

Ima be real. Gaijin should try to get the rights to Fury and add the Sherman “Fury” with custom voice lines for their crew. That would actually be interesting and feel less like slop and more like an actual collab with something that more or less attempting to be historically accurate. I think fury was a shit movie, but I would really like to see that tank in game. A collab with T-34 and Der Tiger would also be awesome! Actually yeah. I need T-34 Klaus Jägers Panzer III J1

And if a game promotes itself as realistic, it should at least try to actually look the part. Even World of Tanks manage to do this, so there’s no excuse for Gaijin not to. For example, what if the Senrai Maiden icons showed the characters wearing historically accurate berets, crash caps, or helmets? That alone would be a noticeable improvement over the current player icons. Yet Gaijin couldn’t even be bothered to make that tiny effort.
It’s clear proof that they’re slacking on basic corporate responsibility.

I mean, Japanese defence forces actively use anime in their recruitment, on their vehicles and as mascots.
I don’t use anime stuff (all hail Lydia and Marina! Female aviators of WW2 ftw!) but the fact that such exists contradicts basis of issues with it being a “war simulator.”
And even for WW2 scopes, western forces used plenty of stylized pin-ups on their vehicles. Different style than anime? Yes. But just as stylized more often than not and many times ‘hornier’.
Finally, I welcome features that annoy a certain brand of wehraboo even if I myself am a german/bf 109 main.

They actually almost officially added a plane color design from that manga into enlisted but the community called them out and instead of giving us a new camo for the plane they just removed all the strike witches decals.
