There is nothing wrong with low level buying premiums

There is nothing wrong with new players buying high tier premium.

After all, why bother with miserable s**tboxes, when you can actually start playing with cool tanks that you actually like.

Value your time, don’t waste it on grind.

I’m British, and if “not having manors” means i don’t team kill people for doing the games objectives without making sure daddy GALWAYLION doesn’t make sure its ok first then i guess i dont have them?

Second, again we are going in circles. Don’t fire the R73 if there is a teammate engaging the enemy, nobody is stealing kills unless they’re burning and spinning to the ground. Not really a great argument considering you’re very open about PURPOSFULLY team killing around base, but i guess we shall ignore that

And if being a decent human to my teammates is my personage, then i guess ill take the moral high ground any day of the week.

Happy hunting :)

Unless the premium is literally THAT good/busted (Harrier GR.1 on launch) that the low levels literally can’t be dead weight, I’d say getting to at least level 30 is a good stepping stone, I keep seeing people who quite literally start up War Thunder for the first and buy a top tier premium, so they quite literally have ZERO idea how anything even works… resulting in TKs galore, and not contributing usefully in a match.

There is lot of wrong. And its exactly the reason why i lost 10 games in row playing US 11.7 yday. All the useless Clickbait/AIM low levels that just die and leave contributing to nothing. Meanwhile me with lineup of 7 tanks/planes/helis trying to win a game those people lost, but the effort is futile, cant 1v16. I am not bad,but i am not that good.

I’m going to be honest, I don’t know why we’re arguing. I’m a bottle and a half down in whiskey and I’m just going off on your messages and hoping to piss ye off. Ye seem like a decent laddie, go get yerself a missus and give her some love now. Or maybe you’re a bundle of sticks, just don’t get your pricker burnt. Have a bloody well good time, you Saxon.

HAHAHA i did think some of it was bait, im off to see the misses in a few hours, assuming spading this harrier FA.2 doesnt kill me off first!

Have a good evening!

Edit: yes, Englishman. But we do love our union-jack neighbors!

You permission isn’t required for anything I do. Pretty arrogant to even suggest.

I’m having to deal with the missus. She doesn’t exactly enjoy the drinking or my “heavy foods” because God forbid she married an Irishman that isn’t from Milan. Like bloody hell, woman. I like me beef and potatoes, I don’t want to eat pasta every single night. Of course if I say that, I get a shoe thrown at me and a lecture in Italian about “a Milano, questo non sarebbe mai passato. Mio padre aveva ragione…” pasta, ravioli, spaghetti spaghetti lasagna.

Nope, there is nothing wrong with that.

It’s not the players fault they do not have lineups.

Gaijin could’ve allow to respawn once used tanks to fix it, even add 1.25x RP multiplier to second spawn in battle to encourage respawning your tanks, but gaijin do not do this.

As i’ve always said - stop blaming players for poor game design

They should crewlock premium vehicles if they one spawn leave and give a second spawn free

That’s called backups, mate. If you want a free respawn, play Reserve tanks, or 6.0 Israel.

They dont even bother using backup to spawn second time. When i grinded nation i atleast used backup when i had nothing but single tank, or tried to put the closest useable vehicle into lineup, like when playing Japan i used Type 90 and Type 74 in one lineup even tho 74 is 9.0 tank.

Exactly. It makes no sense that “you should be able to learn to use a M2A4 before jumping into a M1A1”. They play so differently in such a different enviornment that they may as well be two different whole videogames.

Agreed again. Some of us simply are modern war machinery enthusiasts and want to enjoy these as quickly as possible. I would not be willing to spend 9 months in Interwar-WW2-Postwar-Early Cold War tanks till finally getting one from the Era I actually am interested in…

Thing is, people attribute being “deadweight” to new/Premium players…

When it’s been objectively proven over and over again that Level 100s are as much of a dead weight as often (if not more) as Premium players.

Here, for example: OP claiming that “Half of the players in this image inside premium vehicles were under level 25”… but I fact-cheked and ALL of them were Level 100s except for 2.

Of course, my post was ignored and the rambling about “Premium newbies” continued despite the FACTS proving that was merely a rambling echo chamber.

My response:

Premium players are used as a hatred scapegoat and that’s a fact.

U cant count botted chinese accounts as legitimate lvl 100s. The guy who bought it prolly playing his first 100 games in WT.

You can’t objectively prove this without sampling thousands of battles and players.
It’s a fact that higher tier premiums, especially those in major nations, attract loads of new players and it’s obvious most of them will be below average.

And how do you know that? How do you know they did not run out of backups?

There’s a lot wrong with it but I don’t care enough to explain in detail

way too late to get riled up about it now as imo selling prems that can see top tier MM is just a bad idea and Gaijin having been doing it since the XM-1

I think most people have a problem with them only using 1 single vehicle, not managing to achieve anything and not even have a back-up

Nobody is gonna complain about the low lv using a premium if he’s actually getting stuff done
Problem is when they can’t even tell if the vehicle 4 meters infront of them is a friendly and where they need to shoot to actually pen

I KNEW who made this post just from the title.

YES there is inherent problems with new player buying a top tier premium. I will proceed to correct you once again.

Irrelevant we are talking about new players unfamiliar to how the game works.

would make things easier if it wasn’t for top tier being where sweaty players live, and the players that got there naturally (most of the time) being battle hardened enough to hammer the hell out of anyone new to the game without much thought, it takes a long long time to get to top tier on a free to play account so you gain plenty of wisdom which a new player is yet to acquire.

you cant expect a new player to understand how to utilise radar RWR, countermeasures and missiles when they’ve only used a biplane beforehand in the very badly done tutorials. and they are facing players that were here for those mechanics being implemented years ago and have grown with them.

A new player is going to be scared off by instantly needing to know multipathing, notching and advanced manoeuvres to avoid sticky situations.

you’re facing battle hardened players that know where to shoot just like in ground, they arent going to understand lead indication or weakspots or even how to identify different vessels to learn weakspots.

you only think this as the average new player is above par to you statistically

not even a 0.2 K/D in the IRAF bro you cant speak on the behalf of the average

its the worst part of the game, vehicles are modelled wrong and maps don’t compliment the gameplay

get an easy 100 bucks out of a new player for the cost of low player retention. Great short term but if you keep people playing for a long time over the longer period there’s a higher chance of getting more dosh out of the player.

I wouldn’t call it anti player to have protections in place to stop new players having their skulls kicked in by the veteran players that can identify the tank and variant from kilometres away.

the vehicles slot being gold doesn’t make you learn a vehicle faster, if you think so then you have experienced a placebo effect

Technically correct however with how good the economy is now its extremely hard to actually lost SL unless you really, really suck. Like how a brand-spanking new player will.

if your only vehicle at a BR is a clickbait or fuji for 300+ battles until you have a lineup that isn’t vehicle diversity but an anti vehicle diversity situation

its not even 10,000 SL to repair top tier vehicles 99% of the time, battleships just below 40,000 per repair but you make substantially more SL per naval match to ground or air.

playing even sub par you will still break even almost always, the SL economy is very good now as I said prior.

.

Paying to progress hurts player development and growth, and they lost money in a game they don’t want to play anymore because they bought their way into the equivalent of a high level ranked lobby
