VEAK 40 or M247 can hit targets at 3.5km not every SPAA has 2.5km range
the 40mm cannons have a higher range, whupty doo ,such a suprise. You are learning kinetic energy. Besdies that only because they fly further doesnt mean you actualy hit anything on that range.
Specialy since they shoot slower.
Besides that those are the reasons that SPaas are actualy at 8.7 or 9.0.

My main issue is Russia doesn’t have any anti-air at that br. What am I suppose to do should I keep a dogfighter just for enemy aircrafts? And they don’t need to hit things from that range they have proximity fuze just a close shell is enough
so you mean what several countries needed to do to counter 10km range missle slinging vikhers KA 50s? before it got up tiered? The british G-lynx is guilty of the same thing.

What you’re saying is the truth in that SPAA is not capable of providing air defense at the BR range the user is talking about. You’re framing it like he’s denying this when is main complaint is a lack of SPAA capable of providing air defense at the BR.
“like other nations” isn’t an excuse, it’s a condemnation on Gaijin’s failure to develop tech trees.

Sweden says hello with no SPAA from 4.0 to 7.0 and Israel also says hello, and japan & China crawls from agony into the conversation. There are nations in this game that suffer way more from the absence of SPAA.

Russia already has the most fleshed out SPAA lineup in the game, and you’re complaining about a 1.3 BR gap?
What could y’all possibly get to fill that in? Proxy shells + radar would have to make it at least 9.3 based off the M247. You’ve already got like 3 radar SPAA. You’ve got one of the lowest tier IR SAMs.

Not 1.3 BR gap there is no SPAA at 8.3, 8.7, 9.0, 9.3 and 9.7
Again all minor nations with sparsely placed SPAAs. then USA with only 50s says hi, Germany is doing fine but is in a worse situation than the USSR
I im not being literal with usa only having 50 cals, but at the same time they pretty much do if you dont want to use the M19 gun carrier & M42 duster at a Br where jets are. God i wish sweden could get its version of the duster, the Luftvärnskanonvagn m/43 and the Triad instead of the Zsu-57-2 tank destroyer.
