i just want to know why TU4 can see aim7 in a full up tier literally a sitting target for f3h-2 demon (i play the demon not the TU4)
I have a modern response to one of the points made.
Well, “minor nation” is a myth so I’ll just post all ten tech trees:
JP: F-86F-30.
SW: None. [Though this isn’t a “minor nation” to most definitions, so…]
FR: Vautour IIN Late, MD452 IIC, Alpha Jet coming in at 8.7.
IT: Mig-17PF, IAR-93B, Mig-15Bis, and CL-13 Mk4.
CH: J-4, J-2, F-86F-30.
IR: A-4H.
GB: Swift F7, Swift F1, Javelin. [Of course Britain isn’t a “minor nation” by many peoples’ definitions.]
USSR: Mig-17, Mig-15Bis.
USA: F-86s [most].
GER: CL-13A Mk5, LIM-5P, Mig-15Bis.
All tech trees have aircraft that are a lower BR than they would be otherwise. Either moved down or introduced at lower BRs than they should otherwise be if 9.3 was decompressed.
It’s primarily A-4H’s fault for being under-BR’d from the start and memeing on F-86s and Mig-15s.
Now they entire line is mostly under-BR’d.
I don’t get why you are obsessed with the term ‘Minor nations’.
Even if Everyone misused that term [IN YOUR FOV]
It won’t change any of the ridiculous status of the current Early jet’s ‘New Normal’, which kept for more than six months.
Sabre/Mig or Flop meta.
Gaijin buffed those shameless bestsellers mindlessly.
Ruined the whole radius within their coverage.
US/USSR, Those shameful Big-two are only allowed to have all the fun but are thirsty for more.
At the current situation, Can’t wait to see when F-86A-5 takes even more buff to 7.7 while Vampire goes extra nerf on 8.3
As a joke, ‘forcing minor nations to buy premium jets for skipping sabre world’ is the main reason for a silly decision I guess :/

Obviously F-86 variants and MiG variants of each tree are included. Not a single actual DOMESTIC design got downtiered. Vautour IIN Late is not comparable to these as a niche gimmick plane. MD.452 IIC was not downtiered to my knowledge. Alpha jet is not directly comparable either. Minor nation fighters of equivalent worth (Venom, G.91, Hunter, etc) were not downtiered. Only F-86 and MiG-15/17.
IAR-93 is brand new, so bringing it up when referring to historical downtiers is irrelevant.
CL13 Mk4 is an equivalent to F-86A-5 yet sits 0.3 higher. This one also was not downtiered the same patch. I am pretty sure there was a gap where the community had to tell gaijin the CL13 Mk4 was not equivalent to a F-86F-2 or CL13 Mk5…
A-4H is not directly comparable
Swifts were straight up not downtiered so you’re lying or mistaken.
Javelin wasn’t downtiered relative to these changes so you’re lying or mistaken.
The rest of these are F-86 and MiG-15/17 variants…

Javelin ‘seems’ undertiered thanks to the Reheater on the engine, 4 AAM with 4 ADEN
But everyone who flew with her might agree that Javelin is not undertiered but overtiered instead

According to my experience a year ago when F-86A-5 was 8.3
That junk can’t outrun Sabre thanks to the silly maximum structural speed limit from ‘Pilots Note’
And I Can’t outturn Sabre either, thanks to the fragile Wing. Javelin’s wing just snapped when I pulled the exceeded turn. :/
Well, Things might be changed after revamping the mechanism of the wing overload, maybe?

You responded to the wrong post, I never mentioned “minor nation” except to quote the OP.
On top of that, all vehicles buffed are tech tree vehicles, all 20+ of them, they don’t “best sell”.

Movement of the goalposts fallacy. I already listed “domestic” aircraft as well that was downtiered [or stayed the same BR instead of being uptiered].
A-4H has always been an 8.7 aircraft sitting at 8.3 due to its performance. 55m/s climb rate with a very good dogfight airframe. It is one of the primary reasons Mig-15s and F-86s got moved down to begin with. It’s equal to every 8.3 in the game now, it use to be equal to 8.7s until they were all moved down to 8.3/didn’t move up to 8.7 from 8.3 due to low population playing them.
Swift F1 is 8.3 instead of moving up to 8.7.
Javelin was moved from 8.7 to 8.3. Prove that it’s still 8.7, I’ll wait.
As Stockholm meant to say to you, you’re addicted to the word “minor nation” despite them having great 8.3 - 9.0 options. Many of which I’ve played.
Also I’m curious if Mig-15 was nerfed in flight model, cause it feels far worse than it use to as well as is performing worse than at least some of the listed aircraft in basic dogfighting. What’s weird is there’s no medium speed difference between 15 and 15Bis from my testing… I don’t understand why that’s the case unless new boosters only help high-speed maneuvers.

It is not the main point. No matter whether Minor Nation is a myth or not, F-86 and MiG-15/17 killed reason to play domestic jets won’t change.

Well F-104s were incapable of fragging Migs and F-86s in every match I’ve witnessed [they have a fatal rudder flaw].
Mig-19s? Yeah, those were nasty.
T-2’s later buff did something, but that was after A-4H’s reign was matured.
A-4H was the only OP jet I played because it was OP. I explicitly targeted Mig-15s and F-86s to realize how OP it was when its primary counters were LIM-5P and Mig-19… which LIM-5 was 9.0 at the time.
I haven’t test flew the G91 pre-series yet but I will and mention it.
If it’s as-good as the Mig-15Bis them I’m not going to complain about it staying 8.3, and with how Mig-15Bis feels right now I have fairly low expectations.
G.91 R/1, G.91 R/3, G.91 R/4 are the MiG15bis equivalents (R/4 debatable because 4 9B but its gun firepower is poor and FM wise it isn’t quite as good.
MiG15bis is as good as ever so if you’re thinking it’s bad idk what to tell you, it’s likely you.
Before the FM rework, I think their toxicity was higher than now.

As for G91 pre-serie: 17 degree sustained, 48m/s climb, fuel consumption is higher than in-game listing.
Yes, I’m realizing that screenshot is a climb, it peaked at 17.4 when perfectly level, I’m not going to make a video to get that screenshot.
Mig-15Bis remains 19 degrees sustained with takeoff flaps, and 54.
The primary difference is 15Bis’s role rate was nerfed at some stage, outside that it and the standard 15 has the same mid-speed flight performance.
Pre-series is closest to the F-86F-30, A-5, and Mk4 Sabres.
Don’t be narcissistic.
I am not going off one stat alone. I am saying overall they aren’t as good as the MiGs/F-86s.

I didn’t play much in vampire because it felt like rubbish even before the shameless buffing of Sabre/MiG
But honestly, First impression of Vampire was
looks like Bringing A6M3 into 6.0-7.0 match via troll-squading. (but in a legal way without Trolling)
If enemies are dumb as hell, A6M3 might be able to kill P-51H or Ta 152 in a turnfight
But it doesn’t mean that A6M3 is 6.7BR material.
Same. Vampire can beat even F-86F-2[was 9.0] easily in constant turning dogfight,
But usually vampires are just getting out-speeded by plenty of jets.
I objectively love the Vampire, and such the Venom, I recently had a 1v1 against my friend, I was in the Venom, he in the Yak-23, he won 90% of engagements, and while he is a better player than I, it should have been 60-40 his favour. I always felt like the Vampire was in a worse position than the Venom tbh so I have no idea why it’s at 8.0. It seems as slow as the 7.7 Meteor but turns worse
Its a legacy BR from when it was top tier like ten years ago and they haven’t rebalanced it since
