This challenge is fine. It is a CHALLENGE after all. I completed it in about an hour using an su25 I think.

The challenges I’d like changed are the naval. Don’t force me to play a mode I’ve never touched. Like literally, never played. In over 2000 hours. Not touched naval.

As someone who ‘only’ has a thousand hours in the game, I don’t have any vehicles that fulfill the criteria for the Small Rockets challenge, nor will I be realistically able to grind any in the remaining time. I literally don’t have a way to compete, because I’m grinding Sweden and France. I don’t see how that is fair.

While the torpedo challenge did suck, as I had to practice torps and naval, rank III ships are still a lot more obtainable than this challenge, just by grace of the grind. Does it suck having to play a mode that sucks? Yes, but its the only challenge for naval, and I completed it within like 8 matches because you can farm AI ships and chokepoints. Its a challenge still, but the starting line is much lower than the rest.

I like the idea of the challenge, but do think the rocket size should be tweaked so that small rockets are those under 10KG. That opens up a lot of other options, but might make it too easy, so perhaps warhead size is the way to go.

Heck, increasing it to 5.05kg (or 5.1kg for rounding out) would unlock a major western rocket in the SNEB for this challenge. That is how little the difference would have to be.

Honestly ‘Small’ rockets should be anything lets say (to use nice even numbers) 10kg, which opens up things like the FFAR ‘Mighty Mouse’ - which considering it’s a 2.75 inch rocket, it is kinda small. ‘Medium’ should be a weight range that is the HVAR, RP-3 and other similar rockets that most of the time, you carry 6-8 of them, maybe more in unique carry configurations or later aircraft. ‘Large’ rockets should be anything bigger - like the Tiny Tim’s or W.GR-21, the harder to aim borderline meme rockets. At that point the worst case scenario is having to at least get to the rank 3 IL-2 in the Russian tree for small and some of the Rank 3 German fighters for large, with a ton that cover medium.

Then again they could also remove the kinda nonsensical rank limit which puts the Hellcat back in play for heavies after tehy moved it down (for some reason beyond understanding), and the I-15 I think it is for smalls becomes an option.

I agree with the comments saying that the Light Rocket tasks should be increased to at least 5.05kg/5.10kg, or even better increased to 9kg-10kg to allow the Mighty Mouse rockets etc to be used 👇

I absolutely agree with this comment that this BP task is almost requiring a Rank V+ vehicle, egregious 👇 I have plenty of vehicles that can complete this Light Rockets task, but I have been playing for over 10 years and collect a lot of vehicles. Not typical at all for the average player, and especially not a new player.

It should be changed for the Rank V+ restriction alone. And not just that, it is also not available to people who don’t happen to have the planes/heli’s that can equip those rockets, limiting it even more.

I would suggest that you delete your question in that other thread since it doesn’t apply to that old BP (Your question that I quoted will still stay in my reply here, since it is a quote and not a link.) My reply to your Light Rocket task question: First, the SK-5 rockets are under 5kg, many of these planes have ballistic computers too, like the Su-25K etc (and carry a LOT of them.) Organize the Rank column on the right to see which ones are lowe…

In my opinion, this challenge should be changed because someone like me may have only ground one nation, and in a country like the USA the minimum rocket weight is 8.98 kg , even at lower ranks. Therefore, for someone like me, within this time frame it’s not possible to grind another nation that has light rockets.

I tried to get the kills with the pinpricks using Su-7 and Su-25… Su-7 was too fast, Su-25 is in deadly AAA teritory…

yeah… I had mental breakdown, when I scored few S5K hits on Gepard and ended with damaging its radar…
5.05 kg would be much more user friendly.

Way too limiting for a battle pass mission… only 2 nations have vehicles capable of completing it??
