@tobiaspoole@_QAQ IF this task is ever going to return, I think it must be modified to allow slightly larger rockets to be used, as we have talked about before. This new change to certain loud outs makes it a necessity.
Also an expanded weight range must cover these planes that had their load outs altered.
I would still be “OK” with the complete removal of this task forever, but with an expanded weight range I think it would be fine. Especially if the previous planes that could complete this task were covered.
I would still be able to complete this task, but that is only because I have SO many planes unlocked. My situation is not the same as the “average” player and will be extremely difficult to completely impossible for many players.
I still don’t get people defending this task saying it gets you out of your comfort zone. Sure the torpedo one did but pretty much any naval tree could do that one while the rocket one was literally locked to russian jets or a couple other specific high tier planes. I have the correct harrier with light enough rockets but I have never played it so I did not have htem unlocked. It’s just a stupid challenge where if you don’t have a certain really small set of vehicles you are just not able to complete it without grinding out way too many vehicles just for one stupid task
Surr but most of those tasks can still be done by playing pretty much any tree and quite a range of vehicles. This specific rocket task was doable on less than 20 vehicles in total and like 90% of those were high tier russian jets.
There were rocket tasks before that were easy to complete.
Naval is fine, is the requirement for specific vehicles or weapons that is predatory.
For example someone who plays only sweden cant complete task requiring the use of heavy tanks unless said person has one of the two premium heavy tanks in swedish TT.
Gaijin knows this damn well, in fact its intended to encourage spending.
