So, the Borsuk could have been the V-4’s IFV
Will the FA-50GF be fitted with the same integration for BVR missiles as the FA-50PL? Last Ive heard integration for BVR is still ongoing right? Would it use AMRAAMs?
i want to see in game new czechia SPYDER arrived to czechia from Israel and new PANDUR II 8x8 EVO from tatra defense pandur ii 8x8 evo - Zoeken czech spyder air defense system - Zoeken czech spyder air defense system - Zoeken
It is planned to ultimately be also upgraded to the FA-50PL standard in the future yes.
Yes the FA-50PL’s are going to be intergrated with BVR capabilities, hence the delay for them due to having to test those capabilities in the USA as well.
Planned to use Aim-9x currently
You know, I’ve come around on this. Still missing a lot of vehicles, but a good start.
I do think this is a great idea. Though, would it be easier to just add this as a sub-tree to Italy? Excluding Poland, the nations here were Axis aligned and Hungry is already a sub-tree of Italy.
Oh yes, Czechoslovakia, the greatest member of the Axis powers during WW2 that surely makes sense being added to Italy. Only vehicle that’d make sense being added to Italy is Škoda T-21 that was tested by them, that is the only Czechoslovak vehicle Italy could get besides bunch of Pz.Kpfw 38(t)'s
I think this is the first time I’ve heard such a suggestion for where Poland and Czechoslovakia should go.
Without addressing the elephant in the room, Czechoslovakia and thier successors alone could outnumber the USSR ground tree with 10 copy paste vehicles as outlined by Tadmats suggestion. So cramming in all those+ Polish vehicles into a tree with 5 lines, Romania and Hungary (both also
missing several of its unique vehicles in all fairness) would be a waste.
If Italy were to get a third subtree, I’d say Spain would be the best option.
You only add unique vehicles from those nations, C&P should only be used when no domestic option exists.
And as the suggestion shows, there is barely any and that’s not having a single Polish vehicle. Hence it’s more valuable as a joint or sperate trees.
I agree with your statement though.
I’m not against a Visegrad tree, I did say it’s a great idea.
My only concern is what are you going to do with Hungry? Are we going to remove all the Hungarian vehicles from the Italian tree and move them to the Visegrad tree once added?
The only reason I say make Visegrad a sub-tree is because low tiers could be represented as Axis minors, then after WW2 the tree turns into Visegrad. Italy was the 3rd major member of the tripartite. It also means we can avoid mixing Allied and Axis armour (even more than already exists in the Italian tree).
Well V4 is dead as a concept since Sons of Atila so the next best thing is a Czechoslovakia and Polish tree while Hungary in Italy gets fleshed out.
Unfortunately it is what it is.
Let’s hope the Hungarian low tier air comes soon™
WW2 Polish stuff “could” be added to the British tree, not saying it should, but it’s possible. As the Free Polish fought with the British under British command. As seen by all the British vehicles above in the first image and the Polish Firefly in-game. Then you could have post-war Polish vehicles in a new tree, or an Italian V4 tree. Might be frustrating for Polish players to grind two trees in order to play their vehicles though.
I can understand that but do also keep in mind the UK also has India and South Africa as official subtrees and New Zealand, Australia and Canada as repeat guests in addition to one offs like Ireland and Kuwait on top of UK stuff so it might be hard to fit much.
Only time will tell, which probably will be ages away as the closest sign we have currently to any of the remaining V4 trees is confirmation the Czechoslovakia wouldn’t be a USSR tree.
Now, I haven’t seen a proposal to abolish the trees but if anyone could make a suggestion/hj.
Eww, I’d hate to see Czechoslovakia as a USSR sub-tree.
Also, I think OP is missing the Polish A30’s.
I made a suggestion for one. There’s potentially 3 separate variants that could be added to. The Polish used all of them.
That would be nice, fully in favour of any of the variants (priority to those not in-game)
Same, have you seen the Czech F-35 for USSR thread? Genuinely stunned me that one.
Unfortunately they prioritize copypaste for non popular nations (“minor”), making new models for such nations brings them way less money compared to models for major nations, that’s why most of new content for Italy for example consists of vehicles which other nations can also get (with only exception of naval where devs add them for abusing 😆). For subtrees it’s even worse, even if they add a unique vehicle, about 80% of time it comes as a premium or event. Hell they’ve even made Tigris a premium, leaving Italian TT without a regular heavy tank, now the only option would be IS-2 tanks used postwar or 44M TAS, but it would be a miracle.
Oh I completely agree. They should be adding unique vehicles and only copy-pasting when nothing fits.
I’ve done a lot of thinking about this and looked at what Gaijin did in the past, it would most likely go that the Hungarian vehicles a person purchased get hidden in the Italian tech tree and become unavailable for research (meaning they would become rare). And then re-paste them into Visegrád group. Romania could definitely fill in a couple gaps better that Hungary could in the Italian tech tree but the only problem is that they don’t have their Abrams yet, so no better top tier MBT for a while
Your kind of just over complicating it
