The Visegrád Group Tree (PL, CZ, HU, SK): European Powerhouse

Where did you hear that?
The Leopard 2A8 acquisition should still continue either at a later date, or the defense budget will be increased (as suggested by the Czech president).

And there are no plans to upgrade any T-72s because most of the ≈89 T-72M1s that were in good condition were sent to Ukraine, and the 30 T-72M4CZs recently went through midlife refurbishment and will be put into the reserves.
If we upgrade anything, it would be the 42 Leopard 2A4s, maybe to something similar to the Leopard 2PL.

the Hungary solution.

Im waiting for the air tree because it will be really intersting, only from Poland we would Have MIG-29A/G and MiG-29UB for early 4 gen and we would have modernised MiGs and also Fa-50, F-16s.

Another thing to ponder, I wonder if they’ll include Iron Fist-Light Kinetic (IF-LK), Iron Fist-Light Decoupled (IF-LD), or EuroTrophy and/or EW technology being added. Drones and shaped weapons are clearly a massive threat and without time protective measure, it could lead to excess losses.

No need to fear! The drone jamming Poprad is here!

I hope Poland develops its own indigenous main battle tank in the future. Seems like we’re on that path, they’re already looking into a HIFV using the ZSSW-30 unmanned turret and AHS Krab chassis:

Maybe they’ll slap a 120mm turret on it, add APS, and armor it further into an MBT, who knows.

Poland is partnering with South Korea to make MBT’s for the future, partnership right now is working out way better than the German one, so we might see a co-developed MBT in the future.

I just hope this isn’t the Anders all over again.
