I’ve done a lot of thinking about this and looked at what Gaijin did in the past, it would most likely go that the Hungarian vehicles a person purchased get hidden in the Italian tech tree and become unavailable for research (meaning they would become rare). And then re-paste them into Visegrád group. Romania could definitely fill in a couple gaps better that Hungary could in the Italian tech tree but the only problem is that they don’t have their Abrams yet, so no better top tier MBT for a while

Poland in WW2 is a very hard situation and to be honest the only solution in my opinion is an independent subtree or maybe something with Czechoslovak.
The problem is that there were 3 different (primary) military groups in Poland.
- The Polish army (self explanatory, this is the legal continuation of the II RP that fled to France and then Britain.)
Whilst they technically fought under British command, they also technically didn’t. It’s complicated because of all the countries in the allied forces, and in reality it was a mix of Allied command and Polish command.
They pledged allegiance to both the King and Polish state, and were the legal armed forces of the Polish 2nd republic in exile.
- Armia Krajowa
These were the guerilla fighters in Poland, but they were semi-professional and worked very closely with Polish forces in the West and more importantly allied forces.
They were under legal command of the 2nd republic in exile, but it’s very complicated because Armia Krajowa wasn’t just one unified group, it was made of many different fighting forces. Some were a continuation of professional military, and most were guerilla infantry.
- Armia Ludowa
This was the communist puppet army Russia made. It was actually generally led by Russian officers and stuff like that, no surprise.
Though they did play a major role in Eastern front and were in many famous battles. They and USSR were the two forces against Germany in the battle of Berlin.
This became the legal army in like 1947 or something as Poland became a communist state. 1947 was also when 2nd republic forces in Britain were disbanded, although a lot of the soldiers stayed in British, Canadian, or US armies as they literally couldn’t go back to Poland.
In game this would look like a much larger Chinese TT from rank 2-4, although would be a lot more British/American equipment instead of Russian. Rank 5-6 would generally all be communist (at least in major vehicles). And then rank 6 and 7 would gradually transfer back into western equipment, native equipment, or communist equipment brought to NATO standard
