On a real note a negative kd playing Germany is insane,
.92 kd in the pzbtl that’s insane. a .71 in the leo a1a1 l/44 another amazing tank played by a bad player.
literally German main.
First time? cause Japan is laughing for once, we normally get jack, until 5 updates later.
The past 3-4 updates japan has been getting more, what japan needs is a sub tree. Im not discrediting you, tbh i think alot nations should get vehicles not just 1 or 2 every update. I think it would be fair for everyone to get at least pne maybe two.
Genuinely confused over how this matters.
Its to prove a point that this guy has been personal and disrespectful the whole way and i figured i look into the guys profile and found that info. He has no grounds to stand on when he cant even get a positive kd in the leopard which are the best mbts in the game. My overall kd has gone down to .99 do to me playing more America. i average abt 1.10 to 1.20 depends on the nations i play. Alot of my most played vehicles have garbage kds like the turms and bmp2m and such, i played them alot when i was newer to the game but 4,000 hours later im working on fixing my numbers. i will admit they look bad, but my newer vehicles i have acquired over the years cv90 series, leopards and so forth are all positive. Just putting this out here because wanted this argument to be personal so im comparing.
It doesnt, as it probably just for indirect fire, seen how bae states that the elevation angles are “from 45° to 85°”, something like the amos would actually be more suitable.
Tbh i didn’t follow the thread much so i wouldn’t know if he was “personal and disrespectful”.
Its old news atp, he started off by calling me stupid for having an opinion and preceded to judge everyone for their opinion while not showing and useful info on the topic. I want this to be focused on light tanks of all types and seeing where they can be put in game and also looking what vehicles should already be in game. But dont worry abt it
Got it.
The main issue is top tier USA is not getting anything new worth of value while other nations are. yeah we got the m1a2 sepv2 but it’s actively worse in regards to the prior model. It would’ve been better if Gaijin let us remove the ARAT ERA as well as giving it m829a3 to make up for it’s lack of spall-liner. But alas Gaijin would rather gaslight us about its performance. Secondly Gaijin is making the m3a3 worse with each update due to their changes to TOW missiles, especially tow 2bs. TOW 2B’s in game have the control of a wet balloon with a hole in it and have the punching power of a slap on the cheek. Finally US top tier SAM in the ADATS just isn’t as powerful as it once was in the META, it gets out ranged by the SU-25sm3 and it costs more to spawn in than the Pantsir simply because it can be used to kill tanks. Other tech tree’s have already caught up and passed the US while we continue to get shafted with our new tanks. Seriously we have the worst win rates at top tier and that’s because the only thing that makes top tier US fun is the CAS. Top tier US just needs more to make it stand out and look more appealing to top tier players.
Best light tanks? No. Pretty good light tanks? Yes.
American MBTs suck, so much so that frontally full caliber ammunition can sneak through under the gun mantlet and the earliest APFSDS can penetrate the Abrams anywhere into the turret ring with the ricochet increasing the size of the weakspot. I’m sorry, but if a T-10M and T-62 are an actual threat to me still, then that stuff is no bueno.
The only #1 thing the U.S. has is CAS as even the F-4E is an insane monster with the amount of mavericks and GBUs it can carry.
Dude they LACK spaa for a long as time. Thats the problem.
Honestly US mbt’s would be pretty good if they made the hull armor strong enough to protect against all but the top rounds (500mm and bellow) and made the engine a lot quieter than it is so it doesn’t telegraph your position as much. Sure it won’t change the big gun mantle weak spot but every top tier MBT has a decent sized weak spot.
@Pyro_loogA
“If my SEP2 was 0.5 seconds faster to 50kph…”
It changes not as much as you’d want it to cause most speeds in-town are <30kph still firing the best MBT round in the game out of the 2nd best MBT gun in the game.
TOW missiles haven’t changed since the 2023 update that corrected their unrealistic behavior, and TOW-2Bs got corrected recently to be in-line with the normal TOWs.
They’re easily controlled, just practice.
Yeah, F-16C has been out-ranging everyone as well… congrats on feeling what it’s like to be on the other end of the GBU/missile stick, you can finally empathize with Soviet players.
And yes, all 10 tech trees lack SPAA to deal with the unkillable CAS, this is something I’ve been talking about longer than most cause I talked about it back in late 2022. And it became even more of a problem when CCIP became available when carrying GBUs.
What does team skill have to do with this subject?
BVM: “First time?”
Yes, M1’s turret ring is 1/4th the thickness it should be. I’ve talked about this at least as long as Spanish has.
It has nothing to do with top speed and more about agility and acceleration. Removing the weight would allow the Abrams to me more mobile.
Compared to other ATGM’s in game they don’t control well at all and I’d hardly call it realistic at all.
As you can see in this video the missile comes straight out and doesn’t do that weird thing it does where it takes a second to level after firing.
I also like the fact how you conveniently ignore my point about TOW 2b’s, probably because it doesn’t fit your narrative of “just get better.”
This couldn’t be further from the truth. Most tech tree’s aside from the more minor forgot ones can deal with long range CAS. Germany has the FlaRakRad, USSR has the Pantsir, China has the Tor M1, France and Sweden has the ItO. And if the leak list is anything to go by Italy will be joining them with the Romanian 9A33 Osa.
My main gripe with it is its spawn cost and its weaker ability to deal with the longer ranged targets.
No it hasn’t, the AGM-65D doesn’t out range the Pantsir and the way you kill Pantsirs with it is with smart flying, not relying on its range.
If you re-read the statement in its context it should be self explanatory.
other american entitled post
Really? Which tech tree has 16+km SPAA against jets? Oh wait, none of them.
They’re 13km at most, and that’s Pantsir.
Meanwhile GBUs have a 16km range, AGM-65s have a 20km range, and so forth.
Pantsir: 13km.
AGM-65: 20km.
So your post’s claim is 13km > 20km… lol Sorry, but 20km is greater than 13km.
Zero tech trees in War Thunder have the range to deal with current top CAS, this is common knowledge.
Just like War Thunder:
Keep ignoring facts all you want.
All ATGMs feel kinda wack since they changed how they work. They’re much more likely to fly around, and they feel less accurate. Some also seem to drop downwards out of the barrel, which is unrealistic, but that could be explained by the offset between the sight/barrel.
You have to fire them when using gunner sights.
Probably the most accurate thing about War Thunder is the fact that ATGMs are slaved to the gunner sights for aiming.
IDK where you got the 13km from because if you go in game the pantsir clearly has a 20km launch range. Which is equal to the lock range of the AGM-65D. The only explanation of this mistake that doesn’t make you out to be a complete liar is that you must have somehow gotten it confused with the VT1 missile which has a 12km launch range.
Except in war thunder it does a weird dip and it take a second to start flying above your crosshair, that’s my main issue with it, the fact that it’s flight characteristics are unnecessarily sluggish, and it’s armor pen/damage isn’t realistic in the slightest.
Keep it civil or get lost.
