Yeah you’re never safe around a su30sm. If things get close and personal they can always do thrust vectoring shenanigans and hope for the r-77 or r73 to not fumble.
Flanker is a 70s design first flight was in the 70s service date is the 82s.
At the same time Tornado F.3 was flying.
Typhoon first flight 1993
Service date 2003.
That 70’s flanker looks completely different to all other flankers, only the t-10 (S) was the basis of all future flankers. The T-10 original of the 70s was a failed project that doesn’t even resemble the production flanker. Calling it a 70s design is nonsense, because the flanker that was designed in the 70s is completely different from the production flanker.
The T-10S had its first flight in 1981, not in the 70s.
Quite frankly, I doubt we’ll ever see anything major that is a positive change for the EFT at this point. Not anytime soon at least.
Gaijin is treating the EFT like I would expect the Rafale to be treated considering its massive overperformance stat-wise since its addition to the game.
My current 2 theories behind why the Rafale is getting this constant preferential treatment are;
- Gaijin dev(s) really REALLY likes the Rafale
- The Rafale being so broken has massively boosted the sales of the Mirage F1C premium, and gaijin is abusing the “new” market they’ve found at the expense of the game.

that “new market” should be saturized after 2 updates and 1 Sale (2 if you count the cristmas sale)
the Mirage is actually the second most played 12.0 rn so you might actually be onto something lol

EFT is the new Tornado. (though now instead of people saying it shouldnt be fixed because its unpopular, they are saying it shouldnt be fixed because “its good”)
For some reason, the devs hate the idea of it being maybe good.
I guess its not really much surprise, Italy and Germany are just suffering from Britian tax.

At no point was it said that because he had good performance his mistakes should not be corrected, I clearly insinuated that gaijin should shine a light on other planes that were left out. But if you prefer not to notice that, it’s not my problem.
Many sources I can find online all state 1977.
If the information im referencing is incorrect it is due to the source materials I have access to.

you best believe when i get close to one of those things i spam my flares like no tomorrow, you can tell the guys playing it get annoyed because they cant actually lock on to you when you do that lol =D

Even then, some jets have very hot exhaust and the missiles wont get distracted by flares when locking in, depending on aspect too of course. Others can’t even afford to pre-flare much or you run out quicky, like the F-16s and the J-10.
Aim9Ms also give me some trouble if I am notching at short ranges without being able to launch a missile of my own, those things are hard to flare from the side.
Certainly one of takes of all time, pure nonsense.

to me the worst part of fighting flankers is their nasty habit of still piping you with an r73 after you blasted them in half with canon rounds, i had numerous 1v2’s ruined by some smartass lobbing something at me through the power of HMD even though his plane was a falling frisbee, on fire.
