Has anyone suggested it yet? I have to say I’m still kind of surprised it happened to be real the T-34-88. Makes sense as the Germans did capture lots of T-34s and making them into something kind of standard makes sense even if it did not work.

german weebs not make it about random wunderwaffe challenge impossible
there is only one Wunderwaffe out there
It’s certainly possible it would’ve gotten one irl, but it’s better to stick to what we see in the drawings
I honestly agree the armor is too weak for 7.3, but Japanese vehicles tend to be overtiered, and the “autoloaded” cannon would probably make it at least 6.7
I have seen modal companies adding one on because the twin mount sometimes got a plate I know the model companies are not the greatest historically but sometimes there really good especially around Japanese stuff.
It worked well enough that the Soviets captured it and pressed it into their own service.

worked yes time in put to expected output no that is the theory of why there where not more.
That’s fair, but I still stand by my 5.7 recommendation, not just because of the 75mm frontal hull armor, which can be penned by many rank II vehicles, but also the side armor, so thin that it can be violated with a mere .50 cal.
Combine this with what I assume is subpar mobility, not just in top speed but in reverse gears and raw acceleration (that I don’t expect from a WW2 vehicle), and you have what is essentially a glass cannon that doesn’t provide any options for when you need to go on the defence or run away from a threat, all the while being a very large target that also has just enough armor to fuze most APHE from any angle.
To be fair there is an accepted bug report on the Chi-Ri engine that would change it from 550hp (1500rpm) to 700hp (1800rpm). This doesn’t change the top speed, but would help with acceleration.

With that the Ho-Ri would also benefit since it uses the same engine.
YES

and it will stay a dream
I would preder the techtree Hori remodelled than just removed, so +1 from me
It happens, just like air players turning a conversation seamlessly into one about air-to-air missiles somehow.
Anyways, big +1! This would be a great addition.
Time to talk about Japanese aircraft fuel tank automatic fire extinguishers!

+1 as a remodel
you can never have enough especially when your Yakiniku meet up with the bros gets out of control.
+1, It’d be great to finally put the “japan has fake tanks” meme to rest. Although I really doubt it would be as high as 6.7 even, it does not have much armor and is still limited as a casemate.
As an aside, what’s known about the Ka-To? If it was eligible for addition too that’d be great.
