I like how your argument seems to always lead to:
“He’s rage baiting”
“He’s a liar”
Etc etc.
Meanwhile, I have a genuine argument, provide you with facts, and so on.
You chose to ignore all of it due to your personal biases.
All I have said, and all I’ll continue to say is the TU-4 shall and should only ever be 1 br step above the B-29.
So whatever BR the B-29 is (example 6.3) then the TU-4 should be 6.7
You, and @iegaatdao keep turning it into some personal vendetta which got you in trouble the last time.
Btw your borderline stalking might get you in trouble again.
You can also continue to loop and explain things any way you want, but most of your comments are just opinion, not fact.
Whereas, I like to do my research and only rely upon facts.
I am not stalking if you keep stumbling into me.
If you reliably posted bulls%$# to benefit your lackluster experience on other nations then that’s on you, I simply see a pattern without looking too hard.
Pin in on the circus billlboard, maybe it will save from a bankrupt
“23mil and M2 50cal are similar in damage”
I want to see an IL-28 with 50cals, maybe 7.7 will be better according to you?
Both of us explained, stop sabotaging threads
You stopped responding, even IF 23mil and 50cal aren’t world aparts as you just lied, NR-23 still provides better belts and firerate, which means even then the NR-23 is simply just better.
(All this and we didn’t even mention how the 12.7mms velocity is better than the 23mm
12.7mms: 866m/s
23mms: 690 m/s)
12.7mms get Universal belts.
23mms get FI-T belts.”
Me pointing out your constant errors.
Link to your post about you lying, I would’ve said you were just ignorant, but 3x plus of not admitting fault is just malicious lying.
You and stock project all the trolling “seallioning”, and “Gish-galloping” that you two accuse me of, your doing NOTHING to help the health of the game and the forum.
Unlike stock, I can at least say you have the sense to see the gunner range should be buffed, to a more realistic standard… unlike stock whom voted against it.
Btw the only people killing this thread are you two, because you two think your the be all end all of the game’s decisions.
THANK GOD it’s not up to you two.
I’ve already put in my two cents.
If the B-29 is 6.7
Make the Tu-4s 7.0
Simple.
The 23mm is not some laser beam from hell that locks onto a target and guarantees kills 24/7.
I think I have the perfect message, direct from former yourself.
Thank you.
NO??? You are ignoring the fact due to your personal biases and trying to project it onto us.
Tu-4 has a tremendously better amount of 1 sec burst compared to B-29,
and the ammunition of Tu-4 deals better raw damage (Oh, don’t forget that Tu-4 also has incendiary ammo that can also light the fires if their raw damage weren’t enough to snap plane’s wing, just for arguing’s sake.)
Also, Thanks for being auto cannon; Tu-4 can fire against enemy jets with autocannons, Mk.-108, ADEN, hispano and such. while B-29 generally outranged by autocannons such as NR-23, Hispano, N-37.
So, you are going to sealioning, again and again and again untill opponents are banned or something.
While acting polite, and making the same question again and again.
I am not stalking you, I am engaging you because you are actively works on ruining Tu-4 by ‘pushing Idea that cannot be applied’, and ‘backstabbing any potnent allies that can be helpful for Tu-4 buff’
If you don’t show up on the bomber plane topic, then you wouldn’t face me much like this.
Rely upon ‘cherry-picked’ facts to make biased research.
Do you know that Robert Keho pushed adding lead to gasoline even though he was toxicoligist, at 1920s? Even though everyone knew lead is toxic, because Keho said it is fine, we generally used gasoline with lead added one and it harmed society’s health till, least the 1960s.
Yes, you might have picked facts, but you can twist them as much as you want via cherry-picking the facts.
You are intentionally ignoring good parts of NR-23 and overrating M2’s good parts.
Don’t forget that
23mm NR-23 has
-Bigger ammunition which gives tremendously more raw damage while keeping the capability of light fires
-A heavier shell that makes you fly longer than a lighter one because every projectile loses speed through the air, and heavier objects lose less.
-Real fighter players in War Thunder Air Realistic match just can open fire from 1.5~2km to damage both B-29 and Tu-4, with appoaching high speed by BnZ. gives no windows to B-29 users uses M2’s only one good point [having more ammo per belt]
-Tu-4’s stock belt can be used as universal because it contains API/FI-T/API/FI-T.
I never expected to explain things like this.
Yes, you are cherrypicking the facts to undersell NR-23.
Oh, don’t act like that, nobody in here told NR-23 is laser beam from hell and can gurantees kills 24/7
We were just stating that the gap between NR-23 and M2 is drastically bigger than just 1 br step (0.3-0.4), but you are framing us again.
There is no plausible scenario where gaijin puts tu4 any lower than 7.7. This has been talked about for like 6 years now. Id love to see it at 7.3 but its stats just dont support that kind of br reduction from gaijins perspective. In fact id say its more likely that tu95 gets its br lowered to 8.0, than the tu4 going to 7.7. Tu95’s performance is ABYSMAL because its .3 higher br vaccums it into f104 matches where it gets obliterated by jets with the climbrate of an f15. 8.3 is just great; either you fight me262 or j35, mostly the latter. The .3br jump in flight performance from just 9.0-9.3 is astronomical.
I think if people has problem with it if it goes down to a lower BR, then it shall spawn at it max altitude and max speed. Currently all the bombers are spawning really low.
As far as the ballistics go, they are actually fairly equal on the whole, the NR23 round is a bit slower but the range is about the same. Here is a 12.7mm browning m2 round in green vs an NR23 round in red:
Your device must not support the AV1 codec then, out of curiosity, what kind of device were you trying to view it with?
Bah this is offtopic, DM me the answer if you want to, or don’t.
So yeah the ballistic trajectories diverge a bit at longer range but the 23mm can reach further if you take into account the drop, but it will take longer to get there too.
Problem is
Mr Uniquescorpion didn’t just want to admit that 23mm NR-23 is a far superior weapon because
50cal M2 has more ammo per belt (which is nearly worthless because the enemy will just outrange and outgun the B-29)
And 50cal’s ammo has slightly better initial velocity
While other aspects keep NR-23 superior to M2.
Both need to burst fire, thanks to annoying overheat and jamming of defensive weaponry, and
NR-23
-fire faster than M2
-has drastically better raw damage to frag enemy jets
-kept the ability to light fire because ammunition is also incendiary (which cannot be felt because NR-23 usually rips the enemy plane before it lights fire.)
He believes Tu-4 need to be 7.3BR while B-29 need to remain 7.0BR, and also said “Realistically should be the same BR”
And kept sealioning all along when others explained how NR-23 is better.
Yes. Tu-4 needs a buff and should’ve had a lower BR than its current BR
But sending directly down to 7.3 with ignoring the major armament difference is quite radical.
We can send them 7.7BR first and give some time to collect statistics about Tu-4s.
Well i definitely agree that the nr-23 is a far far superior armament for bomber turrets, especially since if someone is closing on your six the relative speed difference between you two is reduced, giving you the advantage in range even more.
You can start chucking rounds at 2.5km and with the massive spread gunners have all you need is to get a little lucky and know how to lead the target and you’re guaranteed to hit something sooner or later.
Certainly sooner than a 12.7mm m2 would take down an enemy fighter unless it gets an ultra lucky pilot snipe (which doesn’t happen often with armored cockpit glass, especially at long range, while the range is much less of a problem for nr23 both due to the rounds inertia as well as having a large explosive filler).
Tu-4 is fair at 8.0, even jets at your own br have a hard time approaching you quickly enough to not risk getting blasted to bits, only really insta-game overs for you are AA Nords and Aim-7Cs and some of the faster jets like scimitar, g91y, f3h that are mostly only seen in a full uptier.
