The truth about "unskilled players"

Isn’t that enough? It explains the basics, in the game, there’s a lot you need to learn outside of these situations but a tutorial is a tutorial

But LoL matches players by rank, which keeps the game casual for 90% of the player base. Warthunder isn’t like that the difference between a good casual player and a noob in Warthunder is huge.

Yes thats a good thing but why is that not in the actual game. Imagine how good it would be for new players to have exactly what that video shows and then give players a proper mandatory and visible tutorial where they can play through a series of notches from different directions so they get direct feedback and a feeling on what to do instead of needing to apply the theory of the video in a chaotic PvP match for the first time.

Yes exactly and war thunder doesnt so that should be even more of a reason to give new players a more solid start to the game.

The difference between a good casual player and a noob ion lol would be similarly big maybe even bigger if lol didnt put you through mandatory bot games and offered tutorials at literally every step even into the actual games itself.

If you want better quality games you need to teach your players but leaving everything to new players to figure out for themselves and then come here and whine about how bad your teammates are is just hypocritical.

No, that would be funny
This, was worse

Yeah, gaijjn’s in-game tutorial system is horrific.
Outdated, buggy and not even explained effectively while also semi-hidden

I think you’re placing too much responsibility on the game, but both points of view are valid.

IRCCM is ironic, setting the engine to 0 and launching flares

Thats cool but they still number 1 by killing AI in a PVP game and still are god tier on the shark stat.

If GJ have the data why hide the real nunbers? No reason i can think of is good.

I wouldn’t call this “god tier”

Absolutely. I just played through the “chaff” tutorial to see if they are as bad as i remember and its so lazy and underbaked its actually crazy.

Youre saying that from the view of someone who knows the game. Try to think like a completely new player who doesnt know where to get the proper resources.
If Gaijin allows you to spend 80 bucks to play top tier then, in my opinion, they absolutely need to make sure that these players get proper preparation. If not for the fun of the new player then at least to protect the experience of the existing playerbase.

This.

I broke the chaff tutorial accidentally when I tried it out

Number 1 based on a very flawed metric, yes.
Hell, statshark doesn’t even include PvP rating lmao.

You don’t know how to use statshark (or any statistical site/metrics) and it shows

ground kills aren’t counted towards the funny colour
and as you saw the the example that I sent earlier AI kills aren’t counted in the overall rating.
he’s just farming noobs in an op bomber.

This, is also irrelevant because it’s based on SL

Why do you think good players focus on KPS and SR1?

Ground kills are counted towards the SS colour? Its how I got on to the shoddy system to start with- 2 kills 10 deaths and loads of AI got me purple in some CAS prop

Look at my harrier in blue. I use it to do the Mech wager- just over 1 KD but all the AI.

Theres players/ bots on the leaderboard that get 20 air kills nearly every game. Il find some when I get bored and check the shark stat- they will be god tier on SS id put money on it

Ground targets don’t count near enough to matter

Aircraft AI is really easy to track by just visiting here:
Since it does not show AI kills

Or here

It’s not hard to spot if someone’s KD farming lmao

This also exists

you need to know where and how to look, then you can see very easily when someone’s stats are inflated
