The SU34 Is EXTREMELY OP In Ground RB

Here is a total new approach for you.

You want to use your OP AGMs and guided bombs or a lightning strike from Zeus from your plane, do it in Air Arcade/Realistic/Sim and advocate to Gaijin for a more realistic scenario and changes to the mission types.

When people play Ground, they want to play tanks, IFVs and AFVs and not play Air with some additional steps in between.

There is a reason why lower tier Ground are more fun than higher tiers, and it’s not because of Thermal Vision.

Roland 3 and ASRAD will take the A-10 and SU-25 and other CAS out with ease and with the new ammo box you can spam missiles at CAS.

The issue is when people get uptiered from 9.3 and 9.7 into the 10.0+ range and their SPAAs are not good in dealing with CAS at that range…except the Ozelot and the Gepard.

Which is what exactly they did?

I don’t think this is the issue, the real issue is the fact that, using as example, USA mains has access to good CAS planes by simply buying it from the store, the A-10A Early as example in a good BR where it doesn’t face any ground-to-air threats, the hypocrisy of having the best CAS selections but complaining about a vehicle you need to grind for days.

Not at all, the only SPAA to actually cover the AGM-65B operational range is the Osa-AKM, which a lot of countries got at it seems to be a better alternative, maybe, or surely, I’m wrong with the argument, Roland 3 and BOLIDE is up to 9.000 m maximum.

I personally just believe CAS should get an across the board soft nerf, and SPAA in most nations have a light buff as well to try balance things out a little, some BRs dont need much fixing, some need more SPAA, and some just dont have SPAA. Gaijin is in the process of mitigating the SPAA gap which is good. I hope to see some more balance changes done to the CAS and SPAA relationship.

There have been numerous topics on the forum on how to improve and balance the situation, but Gaijin rather adds more CAS than even attempting to balance the game modes.

The Pantsir should cost 700 sp then…to make it fair

I hope to see more balance changes from gaijin, would be nice to see a major update that focuses on adding nothing but balancing everything currently in game, Gaijin has the ability to do so and we have seen some good change in their work. I just hope they will keep adding positive changes, but also to step back a little and fix plaguing issues with the game.

i have top tier jets but you seem to think 700sp for a jet with amraams is somehow = to a 100sp pantsir. if your idea of AA for other nations is just spawn another jet then non pansir nations should get a 100sp spawn of a jets with no air to ground weapons and just missiles.

Do keep in mind though that missiles like AMRAAMs are waaay more adaptive than Pantsir S1 missiles. give a nation like US or Sweden this privilege and you have another problem on your hand.

All of them were shut down by Russian mains, I got downvoted to hell on wt subreddit and in this forums as well, clowns keep claiming “F-15E is better cuz amrams go brr and 20 gps bombs == 20 kills ez”

yeah obviously its a stupid idea i didnt say it like it was a good thing just pointing out how dumb the just spawn a plane argument is

Then make it cost 200 then.

If the only counter for 9/10 nations is to spawn in an aircraft. Then that aircraft shouldn’t cost 10x more than the SPAA or 3x more than an MBT.

It should at most be equal to an MBT in spawn cost.

I’d even be fine with it costing say, 500 (So people don’t first spawn ASF’s and turn GRB anymore into ARB-2.0 than it already is). Or alternatively, do make it cheaper, but set some sort of limit / rule that you can’t spawn an aircraft before at least spawning 1 ground vehicle.

It is currently absurd that I have to save 750odd SP to defend myself - whilst getting all my SP whittled down by the thing I need to defend against lol.

I do agree in its current state Russia (at least at 12.0) is capable of complete air dominance and CAS superiority to some extent, depending on the team roster and what not, and US isn’t completely incompetent. And that adding lowered SP cost for missile boats would be a good idea to some extent, but then there should be some kind of constraints for them so that they can really only be effective against air targets (some air belts have ap rounds that could still be abused against ground units)

I see, mb, interpreted it as quite literal

When Su34 uses KH38, no one can surpass its efficiency, let alone it has six KH38, the strongest CAS and SPAA in the game are all in Russia, it’s really a “coincidence” XD

Definetly needs to be blocked from first spawn. That should be easy to do. But if CAP is to be considered the alternative to competitive SPAA, then it really can’t cost as much as it does now.

Had a match the other day, wanted to spawn in a FA2 to deal with the enemy CAS. I had about 500 SP, so 200 short of what was needed. Instead of just being bombed continuously I left the match.

This is funny cause US been dominating in ground with CAS for months and no one bat an eye, now russia getting something broken in ground people start yapping about how broken it is. Then again , the issue could be resolve by nerfing CAS as whole not just the SU34. Raise the point cost of every CAS across the board and remove scouting reduce air spawn point. Add more SPAA for every nation , fix map and we good to go
