Oh I gave up on AMRAAMS 3 days ago. After using them for my whole time on war thunder air and now trying out the R77-1 on the Japanese Su30MKM, it felt so good to just lay down and press fire missile. Kill kill kill. AIM-120D will definitely underperform compared to the upcoming missiles like METEOR and PL15. If they wanted the AIM120C5 to be good, they would have already done it. “20 more seconds of motor” wowwww so good Gaijin.
Bold of you to assume that meteors will be good. It would most likely be nerfed to the ground due to “balancing reasons”. PL-15 could also follow a similar fate
Here’s how it will play out: French and Russia>China>=Germany, Italy, Britian> Everyone else stuck with AIM120D
I was using these on the F-15I the other day and the missile feels like it is going in slow motion, lmao.
IMO it would be France and Russia>China>Germany, Italy and Britain>= US and rest stuck with AIM-120D. I took US since they currently still have an option for AIM-174B
I’m grinding America even though I know it will always be bottom tier but to just get the coming raptor. I don’t care if my missiles won’t hit, I wanna die looking cool. Either way Germany and Japan will be stuck with f35
All NATO nations (and Japan and Israel )except for will be stuck with F-35 and US being the only NATO nation having two unique options

Same here yea. I do love the EF dont get me wrong delta canards are just awesome to look at but man the Su30sm2 is just a monster. Flanker with good engines and good sustained turn + 12 bvr missile? Sign me up lol

I don’t even have US top tier air, even though I visit the Intrepid museum in NYC so many times lol, only the F15JM and the swiss F18. Those alone make me feel horrible for you guys. Just wait a bit longer for the F15ex.
