You know, I found the F-4F KWS pretty good tbh.
I sometimes switch to TWS HDN to filter targets that are not comming hot
TWS is better for me since when I fire BVR, they start notching right away.
And they just buffed flankers… I won’t comment that

In the 2nd missile volley using HDN is usefull to pick stuff that might actually be targeting you instead of enemies that might be running away

Yeah either that or the mig-29, but I haven’t crewed that one yet, I have some other jets on the wait list to spend SL on. I mostly play top tier germany for some of their unique jets, I want to try the 13.0 F-4F soon. The matchmaker isnt so bad now for 13.0

The flanker buffs were actually pretty hard to get accepted because the gaijin devs would actively deny bug reports about it, denying the manual of the su-27 as proof before finally accepting it.

Holy smokes only 17 days. That’s got to be a new record. But I think there are more bug reports for NATO planes that are collecting dust.
This report was reported 17 days before, accepted today after after and now is being fixed after 17 days meanwhile few report accepted two years ago have still not been fixed

Fully aware at how stupidly fast it got solved compared to others that have been sitting for 2 years but to say nobody was asking for it is wrong
Ok true, I meant in a way that from reading the forums, I have been seen more complaints for NATO planes than flankers.
Funny enough even the AESA radar works kinda weird. Sometimes its pretty solid sometimes you cant rely on it at all.

Yeah its funny how I’ve seen more complaints about nato jets when in reality quite a lot of them are actually overperforming (to varying degrees of course)
Stuff like the Gripen (bug report got accepted to nerf it) and Rafale are massively overperforming, the typhoons are a slight bit in accel and so are the hornets in the same way
No clue about the others, haven’t really looked into them fully, or seen much about them in terms of flight performance being too good or too bad.
How are hornets overperforming? IIRC only the super hornet is overperforming
Afaik its acceleration, but even then its like basically negligible (Please dont nerf an already bad airframe)
I agree about the gripen and especially the Rafale. The typhoon right now is Eh, nothing special about it except BVR. This HP buff to aircrafts have seriously taken a toll on BVR though. But the hornets are atrocious to play right now. And even the f15ge is worse than the f15e. Feels like a downgrade from the f15e. Only benefit is it has some more missiles but still less than the su30s. America needs the F15ex to stand side by side with the other nations before we start 5th gen era.
F15EX will most likely be glorified F-15C GE. It would be missing half of it feature and will be stuck with AMRAAMS. Just like AIM 120C was messed up i fully expect them to also mess AIM-120D
