In battles on the top, I just collect points on the F-15C with AIM-120, because it is the only salvation. It seems to me that these Su are very cheap in terms of points, I watched the replay and the guy did a couple of reconnaissances and one frag and took himself an SU-30 at the beginning of the battle.

No tech tree has SPAA capable of dealing with IR AGM carriers currently, that’s the issue.

Yes this is my issue with people defending the Russian Bias. AGM65s are slow and easily shot down by a Pantsir. KH38S go mach 2 and only the ITO on allied teams have a slight chance. Its annoying and broken but people refuse the propaganda

Just introduce mixed battle in ground RB and all of this nation bias problem would be gone, but ofc they wouldn’t do that.

30SM doesn’t need 38MTs at 13.0. Other planes can perform CAS duties just fine.

Just about the new capabilities of the X-38MT missile in the game. It has almost no initial speed, flies straight up, gains speed almost to two machs and covers a distance of 13 km.
My Mavericks won’t fly that far if I launch it from 1200 km per hour to a height of 2 km. And you understand that this won’t be fixed.

And Kh-38ML as a singular missile is superior to Kh-38MT.
Next major update it could very well be that Kh-38MLs are used instead due to lower spawn cost.

Basically the IR version is crap it can’t do what it needs to do so Russia use the SAL version and the Radar version…So why in game does the IR one perform so well…
This missile is a top tier cancer and while other systems aren’t allowed realistic performance this system breaks all the rules.
In a missile to missile comparison, the Kh-38ML is superior to the Kh-38MT in-game.
However, we do something that real life doctrine doesn’t do: Multi-launch.
The only reason Kh-38MT does better than ML in matches is because of multi-launch.

Yes and it also says for moving targets the IR mode is not suitable and mmW would be selected.
Thats not how it performs in game and we only ever see FnF missiles used by Russia against static targets. When a target is moving the weapon has to be manually guided by the operator.
