Well, of course, it’s just that there are bug reports on other things that have not been touched for months or years.
The root of the issue is that vehicles require attention. Players report problems, but instead of being resolved, these issues either go unaddressed or are deprioritised.
Meanwhile, new vehicles are continuously added to the game, creating a cycle that repeats itself.
Take bomber cockpits, for example, they were initially planned but have now been scrapped due to the workload involved.
Frankly, given the company’s substantial annual revenue, it seems reasonable to allocate some of that profit toward assembling a dedicated team to handle bug reports and quality-of-life improvements, especially considering that some of these issues have remained unresolved for years.
Yeah, I sometimes (close to little) play ASB and HUDs are sometimes weird on some planes (not all of them, of course) and there’s reports made 2 years ago that have been accepted yet they haven’t done anything to them.
For a while there on the dev, it had the tail stinger model copied from the Su-27
you… you guys realize gaijin doesnt have any artists right?
they outsource every art related thing to third party studios, i dont think they have any in house model artists/texture artists.
they do
man soviet mains getting worse than the US mains in complaining
Nonsense, so one can’t even ask for proper 3D modeling? This is hilarious
I don’t know what you’re talking about we were just asking for better 3D model and not complaining that aircraft is unplayable like 90% US mains when aircraft doesn’t have a full capabilities that it does in real life
F15A sitting at 12.3 while the Mig29SMT was 12.7
“bah unplayable” xD
Genuinely surprised at this massive of a modelling issue thouhg usually its quite small issues.
However we are no entering an age of the game where they are cutting as many corners as they can, look at the battlepass M46 which was literal copy and paste.
Look at the prems we get and sub trees now.
Compared to when we got the stuff like the SA tree, the Isreali tree, the actual unique vehicles.
goes swoop as it flits by
I guess you could say… Flankensteining
Oh that is good xDDD
Modeling in games is not necessarily accurate, and it has become more severe in recent years. Fortunately, most modeling inaccuracies do not affect gameplay.
Once again, gaijin proved their ignorance of the navy - Game Discussion / Realistic Battle - War Thunder — official forum
Although there are also counterexamples, such as:
T-90 series autoloader position bug - Machinery of War Discussion / Ground Vehicle - War Thunder — official forum
I think gaijin‘s modeling increasingly relies on outsourcing, and outsourcing model creaters are clearly not always “professional”.
A month later, still nothing fixed
I’m a month late because I have only seen this thread now. But this is hilarious
Did you know the Su-30 use to have APP-50 dispensers copy pasted from the Su-27 before it change to the UV-30K? Also the Su-34 Center Pylon is still there, for some reason
Id honestly have accurate flanker fm, and a slightly more controllable tvc mode fm before this
Hopefully we’ll see it fixed soon.
lol gaijin will never give us the correct FM for the Flankers or the Mig-29, poor Mig-29 has been nerfed since it entered the game because of the tireless crying of the US players
pls gaijoobies fix fm
