flare count isn’t everything Su-30 packs get a whole pile of flares either
su30 gets massively nerfed by its massive engines and size
How is the best 13.3 comparable to a mid f16 that has a BR where nearly every jet is better?

Su-30 has 98 large caliber countermeasures. The fact that is competitive even at 14.7 says a lot.
now compare that to 30 normal caliber and 15 large caliber for 45 total…
If the F-16 wants more countermeasures they end up sacrificing missiles.
Those being AIM-120s which are worse than R-77s already.
Making the worse missile load they get, even worse.
the radar doesn’t even have a HMD mode iirc, the HMD is only for slaving IR missiles if I’m not wrong. (It’s definitely the case for the Japanese F-16A OCU)

but f14D gets hundreds of flares and stop saying HMD you will eat a aim120 before you can ever use that

If you get hit by an Aim-120 at Range that’s just skill issue. Its easier to dodge an AMRAAM than it is to dodge a Fakour 90 which only pings your RWR from 8km away for some reason. Lately I haven’t died to Aim-120s at all, mostly to R-77s, MICA and the odd R-27ER.
