The State Of Play

To the community,

Its clear to see that since the start of this year and for some time now everything that we report through to the Development team in terms of bugs, realism fixes, game mode suggestions, battle pass suggestions are being ignored for the sake of profits. I fully understand that Gaijin is a company and needs to make money like any other.

But dismissing the issues of the player base is only going to lead one way and that’s a player decline. This is shown by how many players were pulled in for the April fools event this year. the the decline that we are seeing via steam DB charts. In my opinion I feel that this is due to the concerns of the player base are again being ignored.

Jumping forward from the Nuclear escalation event we see that in the latest Heavy Cavalry Update even though it was over a month in pre release was loaded with bugs on the drop and was clearly rushed out to beat the summer sale start date. from our POV as a player base its clear to see that Gaijin have done this to milk the cow so to speak as now the BMPT-72 is on sale along with all of the premium top tier jets. which as you can see on stat shark are still overperforming in their respective BR’s. (before anyone calls me a NATO main I have top tier in most nations for air and ground).

Reward system-

Ground vs Air RB

In Air RB you can comfortably grind out a vehicle by either bombing bases and getting a couple of kills you can net around 20- 30K RP per game. Now comparing this to ground from what I have experienced recently was a 12 kill game 3 capture points and a dropped nuke, my rewards 14K RP and 120K SL. bearing in mind this was with a premium line up of ground vehicles ranging from 10.7 to 11.7. which is abysmal.

Bug reporting-

In terms of the bug reporting can we have a transparent system where the player base can actually see how Gaijin implements vehicle buff’s and nerf’s as from a player perspective you get called out for Russian bias and accept a vehicle fix from a singular manual but the burden of proof for the rest of the nations is so much higher to the point where any more information being gathered to site sources would require restricted documents to prove. BY NO MEANS AM I SAYING TO LEAK RESTRICED DOCUMENTS. but by implementing this system we as a player base would be able to see where we need to provide information from and how much rather than just “not a bug”.

Gaijin can turn this back around by listening to the players, the content creators. by taking suggestions on what would keep the player base engaged and integrative with the game long term. As the relationship works both ways without Gaijin we wouldn’t have this amazing game and with out us the players Gaijin wouldn’t be Gaijin.

If I have missed anything please reply below.
