yeah the new under armor has equivalent protection to the old one its just a bit lighter (seems to be around 500lbs lighter) so no reason to include it in protection upgrades

on top of this from what i found the ied/underbelly addon everyone’s keeps mentioning was actually a weight shave upgrade changing the material of the upgrade from aluminium to light weight steel resulting in the weight decreasing with that upgrade so its irrelevant to the argument
this doc also mention increase durability of the turret basket so that might be something to look into
like i said above its about 500lbs saved

yeah sorry i missed the part you said about the belly armor
but do these conclusions not more or less confirm that there was NGAP/NEA integration into the hull alongside the turret
I’ll get both mate, I’ve already got USA at 12.7 so i’ll likely play the British tree to get their abrams first, the aussie ones.
Also the US tree for me feels the same after about 10.7, the gameplay loop is the same, use the mobility, out position and derp the enemy.
At 9.3 and down it’s kinda different cause of the worse rounds, armour on the XM1 and MBT70, as well as the pattons (i really like the pattons and the 8.0 area in generaly)
they are great man but I’d like to see the sepV3 be different at least.

I’ll end up getting the US one just to have it, but that’ll be in Customs. British one I’ll use in actual matches.
The US one with the TROPHY might be good tbh, but it seems huge which means easier to spot
I usually keep the trophies, it’s why I used the T-72 over the T-90 for a while. Thankfully I can go back to the T-90 soon
I am pretty sure someone else already tried to use this and they replied that they don’t accept interviews. And yet I vaguely remember a few changes made on the basis of interviews? I am not sure how consistent they are in applying these rules.

I’ll probably still mostly play the SEPv3 and trophy for their looks (I also want to get their crews aced so they can join my aced SEPv1 and SEPv2), but you the SEPv3 looks kind of sorry capabilities wise compared to the other M1A2s.
Which is partially because of Gaijin’s decision to give all 12.7 Abrams M829A3.
