also kinda interesting but kinda off topic, ingame the sepv2 is named SEPV2 while the sepv3 is named SEPv3, with the capitalization of the V being inconsistent between the two… pretty sure the correct spelling is SEPv2 and SEPv3 but I’m unsure
Well, this isn’t really a bug.
Firstly, there are no available pictures of SEPv3s with pictures yet.
But most importantly; Gaijin chose a SEPv3 model without APS much like they did with the first SEPv2 and that’s a perfectly valid choice- a Trophy-equipped SEPv3 can always come later, much like a Trophy-equipped SEPv2 came after the one without it.
It would be a bug if it were a technical error, but the vehicle being a different variant/iteration than a specific one really isn’t much of a bug.
Our current focus should be reporting SEPv3’s actual bugs and issues, such as the missing hull armor.
one demand at a time
They are even going through these files?
I doubt it. At this point they appear to be automatically rejecting ANY SEPv3 armor related report without even taking a single look at them.
This is on the part for the m1a2c
What is appropriate source material for historical issues?
OEM Manuals (primary source): User manuals, repair manuals, factory manuals, operating manuals, technical manuals etc. Single source is required (preferred source).
Authored works (secondary source): Reference books on collections of vehicles/aircraft/ships (‘coffee table books’), biographies, specialist books, “expert” opinion publications, industry magazines etc. At least two unrelated sources required.
Please be reminded that Wikipedia or other private websites are not considered reliable sources.
You need to provide the following information about the source:
Title and if applicable: publication date, document number, ISBN.
Author or organisation
Image of the cover
Images of all the referenced pages and their page numbers
References for photographs
I feel like its kinda asking for classified info
They stopped sourcing stuff in their replies and just started saying “no youre wrong im right”
I made yet another Reddit post to draw attention to this issue and redirect it back to the Forums;

Can we find a bug based on vague information that got accepted and implemented in game?
This is extremely frustrating. They are now automatically rejecting each and every single SEPv3 armor-related report without even taking a look at them under the premise that “there’s not enough info”.
That’s why I am now targetting my efforts at pointing out their lack of true and uniform standards when it comes to their very own bug-reporting requirements.
At some point, they will have to acknowledge that they are not even staying faithful to their own claims and admit that they are just doing whatever they want at this point. That alone will be a victory to me.
yeah I’ve noticed
Relic armor buff?
The rebuff of the bmpt accuracy?
Oh wait there they didn’t need any info whatsoever
And then they accept this: Community Bug Reporting System
Citing 1 video and 2 sources one can’t easily access.
3 sources ans its accepted, the double standards are laughable.
Even if the sources would be easily accessble, only 3? While NATO gets rejected with even more. How is this game fair? (Hint, its not)
there is a primary source with protection angles that you can read
a single pattent where he linked 2 different pictures from which he also attached to the report itself
and guess what you get if you were to google that
there is a differnce between having primary sources and not having ones
When I click the links it just says i don’t have access. Some weird bug then, my bad I guess.
Thank you. Over all, the community as a whole need to unify because this isnt just a US issue, though at this exact moment it is the tip of the spear.
They have abused their player base long enough and this needs to be addressed. We as players have limited options, but I think getting content creators on board will help.
That… and previous strategies that forced changes way back when.
Every nation whos upper mbts are being ignored (abd some worse than our desr abrams), need to voice their issue with this through the propper channels. Right now, they dont care because they can just get new players.
Need to take a screenshot of that report and then the list of abrams one and submit a bug report stating double standards.
Except thst not every nation offers primary source since they maintain weapon info as classified. And in 2021 gaijin clearly stated that they would use estimates to try and fairly project modern capabilities.
Also manufacturer brochures arent secondary source… that’d be enough for a major research paper submission.
Im not sure thats a good idea…
