Well you would be wrong, since I never defended the BMPT. Hell I haven’t even put any research into the BMPT to this very day, so why would I defend a vehicle I don’t care about?
At most I have said that I don’t personally struggle against them too often, but that I can see why they are a problem at top tier (due to their damage model).
It was relevant since you claimed I was a Russia defender, yet I have far more games in my US vehicles.
Unlike you, I actually have a grasp of reality. So I can see that Russian MBTs just aren’t very good. You struggle against them, yet you can’t grasp that this mostly because of your personal issues and not these tanks being strong.
I mean you are welcome to try, but Kh38MTs are something I have been against ever since they were added to the Su-34, so I would be suprised if you see me defending those.
I’m prepared for the post, I have set my expectations to even below 0.
@Dead_Undertaker Renzo has always openly criticised the RU tree where it was deserved. His position has really always been that the Abrams is a good tank in WT, which it is despite its problems, that RU tanks were overrated, which they are.
RU strength has been borderline gamebreaking CAS for years now. Russia had:
First spawn HE rockets on helicopter cleaning your team
Vikhr winning duels against AA and sniping attack helis
MiG-27K in orbit right above your spawn that couldn’t be detected due to radar deadzone
Su-25SM with Kh-38 outranging AA, then made even more broken by the Su-34 giving a double Kh-38 carrier with separate spawn cost.
And now LMUR + Kh-38 combo.
The only time the RU CAS abuse actually slowed down was summer 2025 right after IRIS and co were added but before LMUR.
That is exactly why the USSR maintains some of the highest win rates, even though the K/D ratios of their tanks are roughly comparable to those of NATO tanks. Yes, the USSR received a major boost through its helicopters and aircraft, operating under the protection of the extremely powerful Pantsir air defense system. But we shouldn’t forget that Soviet MBTs have also received a large number of buffs, such as spall liners, faster reload speeds, and more.
Yeah, not much but better than nothing. They also called it SEP v3 in the devblog instead of M1A2C. Detail but hopefully that also means the name changed in game
Oh I absolutely agree. I think the current post is a really nice breakdown of their pov and their thought process. If the whole bug reporter debacle didn’t happen in between it would have been a perfect way to resolve the situation.
Yeah, the funny thing was they had so much less information then that final bug report lol and we still got the “not enough info” lmao. But it’s gaijin lol.
