All the videos ive found of the commanders side on the sepv2 haven’t shown the turret wall, mostly looking at the loader or CITV sadly.
“We feel these place cards are a clear marketing lie”
I’d love to see the other mbts get fixed tbh. A lot of them are, as you say, in a worse place than the abrams.
Theres just abrams being released this update so of course its a hot topic.
Just did :)
I already did, two; but none ever went anywhere.
Nothing is ever of use, I do not care anymore.
Don’t forget “Warthunder Issues” fowarding to devs are all community based. Gaijin does nothing on this part except check the sources and claims.
We are essentially doing all the work for gaijin to make a change
I believe this is a SEP(v1), the data tag would be behind the black tape (I think that is what that is).
EDIT: actually, this is not consistent with what I wrote underneath, hm… It may be a SEPv1 still with some things moved around, or a SEPv2 with some things removed. Idk though.
Spoiler
From what I can gather:
SEP:
pretty empty wall, idk what that small selector box is or whatever, but it’s not underneath the lamp. Data tag sits fairly high.

SEPv2:
The small box is now underneath the lamp, and a new large selector box is in its old place. Data tag sits right underneath that new box.

SEPv3:
Pretty much the same arrangement as SEPv2, but the data tag is moved a bit more to the left, as now underneath the larger selector box are a bunch of connectors or something.

Idk the correct terminology for these things, so forgive my use of “box” and such. I hope it’s clear.
Oh damn, so they just made it a lot harder for us to see it LMAO
the correct term is “thingamajig”
PSA: Stay out of blowing up people’s bug reports with unnecessary spam unless you have facts or data to add. This is getting ridiculous.
It may actually even be a SEPv3 but with the larger box removed now looking at it, because I can see the bracket that holds the wire connectors (which seems absent in SEPv2 footage I looked at, though not 100% sure). Where did you find that picture, and probably more importantly, from year does it date?
Spoiler
I think at least, SEPv2 doesn’t have it. As you can see here, it’s quite completely empty underneath the large box, instead just the data tag sits there.
EDIT: lmfao ok, I guess I’m just blind, it’s there, but it’s a bit hard to see maybe. It however starts quite low, such that the data tag fits between it and the box above it, whereas in the SEPv3, the bracket sits higher or extends higher, such that the data tag had to be moved leftwards (forwards to the turret front).

This plate is located on the driver’s right side. It shows the total weight. The first one is in comander
I lost the video, but has anyone showed this yet?
i almost missed it, but theres the card and i can only read “Turret assembly for tank ___” but is this even a V2 or?
Maybe get ai to clear up the info panel idk 🤷
im going frame by frame, and i think i see a V2 and the end of the first line?
Looks like a SEPv2 to me, consistent placement with the other SEPv2 footage I found.
This is absolutely sad and shouldn’t be a thing on any MBT, no matter their front armor layout. Bug report managers and devs boast that they balance the game around ‘game conventions’, and getting 50cal’d and be unable to fire (Leclerc FCS holds that feature) is nowhere near balanced or fair, no matter the tank’s core characteristics.
Anyway, back on topic.
90% sure it is a sepv2, i matched it to the one that @TheRealSteve sent, and checked where the weight is.

i know its very blurry, but it seems to be __.1, possibly 20 something
Its not worth the time finding this placard anyways, it still doesnt prove anything concrete. So unless you are gonna find an itemized list of every single change done from V2 to V3, with the weight added or subtracted for each change, you are out of luck anyways
