Because the APS system for the Abrams is separate from the vehicle, and often operates without it IRL. In game this means it gets added as a separate vehicle with APS, so we will get a SEP v3 Abrams with APS in a future update, just the same as they first released a SEP v2 without APS and we are getting one with APS this update.

You probably know more than me about bug reports but make sure u dont reach the max text limit or whatever its called when making the bug report, i did and i did not have a backup of it so yeah :(

Well thats just plainly stupid tbh, why cant they just make it a modification like i stated…

Unfortunately Gaijin doesn’t do APS modifications for any vehicle (I think I may be wrong), probably so they can have more vehicles to add for line ups (T-90M and T-90M Arena, SEP v2 & SEP v2 TROPHY, etc). I just wish they would be foldered.

You’re free to use my terrible math based on MRE box measurements. In all seriousness provided you get dimensions of the hull and turret cheeks you could easily do the math for armor weight.

Back in 2021, Gaijin claimed that they would “calculate values based on publicly available data, such as likely threats and requirements” when it came to PRESENT DAY CLASSIFIED VEHICLES. Let’s see if they are willing to follow through with the UNDENIABLE information and calculations of this report.

10 minutes in already a negative comment

There’s always going to be those people. Logically speaking why the hell would the US Army add 20mm of steel to the engine deck like that guy claims as an example? NEA is a program not only to improve the ARMOR but to also improve weight saving. When you think of modern tank armor, do you think of the structural hull elements OR THE VERY OBVIOUS COMPOSITE ARMOR.

What is that image supposed to tell us???

Gaijin is using a “technical quibble”
I’ll explain, they added the HE-TF in his prototype designation and the tank M1A2C so following the same path by this you can conclude that if it is a prototype it cannot get SepV3 3rd gen thermals no?

All that i said, you can throw it in the trash as gaijin themselves patched the names with production variant and the tank itself as SepV3, so there is not reason to deny that report effectively

welcome to double standards thunder

already marked as “not enough info” what a joke

THEY IMMEDIATELY REJECTED THE REPORT CLAIMING THAT “NOT ENOUGH INFO”. THIS CAN NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAND!

This is UNACCEPTABLE. Lots of people spent HOURS doing Gaijin’s work for free… only to be thrown in the TRASH?!
