As of the august BR changes, the spitfire LF variants were moved to 6.3 in GRB, after being moved up 0.3 of a BR less than 6 months ago. This BR change might help balance ground strike capabilities, but will severely unbalance its air to air abilities, as it is put in the same BR bracket as the Mk22 and Mk24 and face far faster jets that are extremely hard to fight. My thoughts on balancing vehicles are that if a vehicle is to OP for its current BR, but struggles at the next BR, it should either stay at its current BR at a higher SP cost, or the BR bracket needs to be decompressed if there are enough vehicles that do not fit. Any thoughts?
- Vehicles should be balanced by SP cost when they do not fit
- Vehicles should be balanced by BR decompression when enough do not fit
- Both methods should be used interchangeably
