The RAH-66A being 11.3 is criminal

the RAH-66 being 11.3 but stuck with the old 114B’s makes it useless for what it is suposed to be, a sealth heli, but instead you are at a BR where your stealth is useless (Pantsir-S1, Tor-M1, etc) and beyond that you have to get well within the kill range of almost every spaa just to have a chance to fire your extremely slow 114B’s and hope that even if they hit that they dont just do no damage.

Gaijin, I propose to lower the BR to 11.0 or give it the 114L that was meant for it (and all longbow radar-carrying helis), or at the very least 114K, it might not be the most really but for the sake of balance it is needed

if those would be in game, it would use mmw radar to track targets.
This leads to a even more unbalance compared to IR quided versions, and if it would be having 114L would bring it instantly in 13.0 Br .

And besides there is even 11.7 helos stuck on B versions instead K’s.

Best tip is , try to go somewhere else instead trying to get kills from helipad in that.

114L will not come because LOAL munitions aren’t wanted in the game right now by Gaijin. What they need to do is unshittyfy the hellfires.

Comanche is fine at 11.3, it going any lower wouldn’t make any sense.

As soon as that’s added the MMW channel on the Khrizantema-VM seeker gets activated, Mi-28NM with 4 LMUR and 8 MMWs here we GOOOOOoooo!

I do, I use cover as much as I can and only take the 6 internal to maximize stealth yet still have to get up close and personal

probably higher, MMW is active radar so it can see through clouds and smoke and more advanced ones through tree cover, the only way to avoid it would be to put hard cover between you and it… which is hard given the lack of RWR on tanks (at least in game)

Yep, but in this current state when 13.0 is “hard cap” it would be there.
And if those would be, then brimstones would get that mmw tracking also, what would lead every brim user jet to go up in top tier, etc etc.

But it would also lead a lot of tk’s , since ground radars doesnt have iff if I’m not mistaken and does those show also dead tanks so shooting those would be bit risky :D

+1
i don’t like it the AGM-114B the damage not that good as the K i really hope snail give it the AGM-114K it’s way better !
it’s costed me 50$ :( i could bought with that amount two eyeliners 😭
i never had good game with Rah-66 maybe am bad at the game !
my experiences with Rah-66 really not good and always get spotted by AA

Maybe snail lower the Br to 10.7? or 11.0

it just needs the agm-114K and its Flares and Chaff it had irl

+1 agm-114K and at least Chaff will help it a lot !
it heard it can carry IRCM system to !?

maybe this could help to

It could get Chaff dispensers atleast, it looks to have been planned to have M-130 Chaff dispensers according to some documents.

[DEV] RAH-66 Comanche missing M-130 Countermeasure Dispenser

But it could also have flares since M-130 can also use flare cartridges. It’s unknown how many dispensers were planned for it but Gaijin could at the very least give it 1 dispenser which would give it a total of 30 CM’s which is better than nothing.

Gaijin just seems to pick and choose at random what planned equipment can and can’t come to the game.

Oh yes, facing that in 9.7 would be so much fun :D
even kiowa is feeling bit disgusting when facing 9.3 even that it only has 4 114K’s.

Try first spawn , full stinger loadout and go camping on 3km from enemy helipad so you wont be autospotted and can also ruin jets days in there.

I do that when I’m bored in Z10A ( ok it got better aa missiles but still :D)

  1. MMW Guidance for the Krizantema VM requires a seperate radar unit carried under one of the wings

  2. it’s still a beam riding missile, you can track one ground unit with the radar unit and fire another using SACLOS Laser but it still requires a radar track/LOS the entire time

Hate to be that guy but that isn’t going to magically make it good if you’re already struggling to do anything against ground units.

The issue isn’t that, it’s spaa, the AGM-114K is because of the amount of ERA at this br, but is dooable without it. The flares and chaff, though, are desperately needed as it makes it so that whenever you are found, it’s game over, regardless

I’ll say that the Ah-64D is 11.7. same armament, no stealth, higher BR.

The DAP being at 11.0 is quite telling on how Hellfires perform as whole.

If the Ah-64D has it’s MAW (so no stingers), the only notable difference between the two is the DAP has worse maneuverability, no radar and no cannon. That doesn’t warrant a BR increase of 1 and at least they can put it at 11.7.

Hell, you can put this at 11.0 and it’ll still perform relatively similar to the DAP. When given the option between The Ah-64D or Mi-28N, I’d pick the 28N because of it’s superior cannon, and arguably more reliable agms. Granted I’ve played maybe like a handful of games on that thing (since I have the Ka50), but after playing a decent amount using the Atakas/Cannon (from the Ka52/28NM) and the airframe (from the 28NM), I highly doubt my opinion doesn’t have any merit.

The AH-64D has stingers, but he was talking about the AH-64A.
