Its IRCM, so is effective against missiles that lack IRCCM, which is practically none of the available SAMs, and few A2A missiles at that BR.
It could in theory as M-130 Chaff dispensers was mentioned in a document as part of it’s planned equipment which could also fire flare cartridges but Gaijin decided not to include it in-game.
It also was planned to carry AN/ALQ-44V(3) IR Jammer but again Gaijin decided not to include it but for the reason that “It wasn’t fitted IRL and contradicts the idea of stealth”.
hopefully they will change their tune and add it one day
This is an old post, but I think it’s still relevant to mention that the RAH-66A should either: get moved to 10.7 as it lacks any countermeasures and only relies on stealth that doesn’t work at its current BR, or be given its LDIRCM/Flares to make it viable at 11.3, where it fights things such as the Tor-M1, SAM-1C, and Roland

Not really, it needs that the Hellfire gets proper RCS and not get spotted by cold war radars. The number one danger to you is spaa, and chaff and flares don’t do anything to them
Though countermeasures come in handy, it can’t do much against stingers or iglas let alone doing anything against SACLOS spaa.
the main issue with it getting moved down to 10.7 is that it’ll outclass all helis at that BR. Even at 11.0 I’m hesitant to say that it’ll be equal to the DAP or mi28N.
I’ve been playing the Commanche occasionally, and imo, because it can carry a mix between hellfires/stingers, has good situational awareness, and good maneuverability, it’s decent at 11.3.
The closest relative we have is the Z-19. Both has it’s pros/cons but if I were to pick one, I’d pick the Z-19. though it’s agms have less range, it has a sustainer which makes it easier to lase a target last second. The damage is weak but it’s much more consistent at hitting targets. You also get really good a2a missiles. All this comes at a cost of carrying significantly less agms and no cannon which is why I understand they are at the same BR.
edit: forgot the Z-19 also has a MAW
If anything, the agms itself need to be buffed.

Yeah, I’d be fine with that personally. I mean, it’s not a bad heli at all, but it’s kind of not as good as the rest of the helis at that BR.
